About this property
4 Bed Beach Bungalow with Dog-friendly Garden & Hot Tub on South Beach, Heacham
Seabourne is a charming property all on ground level located on the exclusive private road of South Beach . With Heacham Creek at the end of the large garden and the sea to the front Seabourne is ideally located for all types of holiday makers of all ages and abilities and provides an excellent comfortable and warm base from which to explore the North Norfolk Coast.
There are 4 bedrooms; 2 Kingsize, 1 double and 1 twin; a spacious lounge/diner and a well equipped kitchen, with a double oven, separate ceramic hob; dishwasher and washing machine. There is 1 large family bathroom with a WC, basin, bath and a separate shower, plus a useful extra shower room in a delightful new summerhouse in the garden. Seabourne also has a wonderful large conservatory on the back with tranquil views down the garden to the creek and yet is set back from the beach only by a short stroll.
We have also recently installed a fabulous fixed 6 person hot tub, as our hot tub hire service was proving so popular(please note there is an additional cost of £150 for the cleaning and preparation of this).
Dogs are welcome and the property has the advantage of the lovely, large garden which is fully enclosed, making it very safe for children and dogs. There is plenty of private off-road parking.
Just a few minutes walk up to South Beach road there is a super cafe and a very well stocked general store.
The beach is safe for swimming and windsurfing and perfect for bird enthusiasts and walkers being close to the RSPB reserve at nearby Snettisham and the Sandringham estate.
The Wild Ken Hill Estate, made famous by BBC's Springwatch, is right behind us
The area is also very popular with golfers with a number of top golf courses nearby, including Hunstanton; the Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster and Sheringham and Cromer just a bit further round the coast, as well as Heacham Manor on the doorstep making Seabourne ideal for golfing groups.

About the host
Hosted by Rosemary Walton

I am semi-retired and we purchased Seabourne with my sister as a family holiday home for our children and grandchildren to enjoy South Beach and all the Norfolk coast has to offer, as we did as children. Since we purchased Seabourne we have undertaken a full redecoration programme and installed a new, more efficient hot water tank, new carpets and flooring, a gorgeous new summerhouse with shower room and lots more, as part of a programme of refurbishment and modernisation over time to put our own stamp on it. We are on a constant programme of improvements and recently have installed a fixed 6 person hot tub, a new shed for storing garden games and bikes etc and new front gate and driveway. Our latest project is a new summerhouse/teen den and extra shower room has just been completed.
Why they chose this property
We love Heacham as it has so much to offer and is a brilliant gateway to explore the beautiful West and North Norfolk areas. We grew up spending idyllic summers on South Beach at another property and have been looking to buy one of our own there for some time. We are thrilled to have been lucky enough to get Seabourne as it has great memories of the annual South Beach community BBQs in the gorgeous garden and in our view it has the loveliest plot on the beach.
What makes this property unique
Seabourne is down a private road, only paces away from the beach, but with a stunning large fully enclosed garden of a third of an acre, so it provides the best of all worlds. The bungalow is all on one level making it perfect for all ages and all abilities. It is brick built and well insulated making it warm and cosy in all weathers.
