Bungalow style cottage in the delightful picturesque village of Melmerby where the famous village bakery provides superb food.. 1 step to entrance.

This two bedroom property also features rainfall showers in both bathrooms, perfect after a day out walking in the area. Situated midway between Penrith and Alston the village oozes charm and character and is a true example of the traditional Eden Valley village. The atmosphere is one of rural calm, the sandstone architecture, rippling streams and pleasant grassy open spaces all add to its charm. Melmerby boasts its own village bakery and pub serving food and drink. Lavender Cottage provides an excellent base from which to visit the Lake District National Park, The Eden Valley, North Pennines and Hadrian’s Wall.
