Classic Sea Ranch ("Mendonoma" Coast) home with desirable west-side location and fabulous ocean views over a wide meadow. With a south facing orientation, protected from the wind, our deck enjoys maximum sunlight and expansive views. The large picture windows and redwood deck are perfect for watching whales and sunsets.
The house is located at the South end of the 10-mile Sea Ranch community. It is close to the lodge, in an area where planning allowed more space between buildings, perched on a low hill with expansive ocean views and with all the privacy you want.
Walk to Black Point Beach, Moonraker Recreation center for swimming and pickleball, and to the Sea Ranch Lodge.
THE SPACE and AMENITIES:
Recently remodeled kitchen and attached entertainment room with views and brand new smart TV
High speed internet, smart TV (no cable, guests must log in into their accounts) and stereo with blue tooth. Clean, simple lines, colors, and patterns within an open floor plan that we keep clutter-free for a relaxing experience.
The house is set for up to 6 adults and 2 kids with 6 proper beds (2 king, 2 twinXL and twin low bunk beds) distributed in 3 bedrooms with closets and 2 full bathrooms (1 shower, 1 shower/tub.)
**PLEASE NOTICE THIS PROPERTY DOES NOT ALLOW DOGS**
Due to health concerns, this property cannot accommodate pets except for SERVICE animals.
For emotional support aninimals, we please ask you to submit a requests now, at the time of booking. These requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and a cleaning fee of $100 will be charged. Without a previous requests, a $200 fee will be charged for additional cleaning.

We are a family of 4 with children who live in San Francisco. Michael is a San Francisco native and loves Northen CA and its wild coast. My name is Natalia and grew up in Madrid, Spain and lived in different Spanish cities until I moved to SF a few yeas ago. Lucia and Mateo are our funny toddler twins and a blessing for the family.
Why they chose this property
We think this was the perfect escape for our family with young children, the place to get away as a family from the busy city and our internet polluted lives.
Sea Ranch, and Mendonoma Coast, can get you as busy or as relax as you want, just choose between seating and looking at the ocean from the deck or kayaking in the Gualala River!
Now that our kids are in elementary school, we love inviting family friends with other kids and share our adventures in the area.

What makes this property unique
The great:
- Location, views and privacy. The house has expansive unobstructed ocean and meadow views with the privacy that white waters view houses do not have since there is not a walking path right in front of it. And it is on a cul-de-sac with very little traffic.
- Generous check in (2pm) and check out (1pm) times compared to standard 4pm-11am. We do not take back to back reservations to allow our guests to get the most of their visits.
- Managed by owner, meaning we care and use this place often, and you check in with smart lock (no extra drive to find rental office).
The good:
- Location again: walking distance to the recently renew lodge with restaurant, one of the recreation centers (Moonracker) and Back point beach access. This house is also at the South end of the Sea Ranch, which was developed earlier and with more spaces between houses than any other area.
The “it depends on your expectations”: this is not one of those designer houses on magazines, and does not aspire to be one. This is a functional family home that has gone through many updates over the past 7 years with the intention to work for our family with young children. It is a house that hosts many families with children, and there is wear and tear. If you are looking for a designer house with original art on the walls, this may not be your place. If you want a stress-free place where things work and do not want to worry about your kid breaking endless knick-knacks, we are waiting for you.
