I am actually pleased with this review. You liked the pool, the BBQ area, the front porch and pizza oven. I know this as the main thing you didn't like is cobwebs. The house is cleaned on arrival, but spiders do come back into the house and make cobwebs. If you feel this spoils your holiday, let us know and we will arrange to dust them away. I have taken on board your comment about the toilet seats, these are now replaced. I will look into windiw screens, but for future guests information, we have blinds and curtains up against the windows. As you left, I believe you said it was one fan in particular, so we will look into that too. But one star for some cobwebs and noisy fan? Very unfair. Estoy realmente satisfecho con esta reseña. Te gustó la piscina, la zona de barbacoa, el porche delantero y el horno de pizza. Sé que lo principal que no te gustó fueron las telarañas. La casa se limpia al llegar, pero las arañas vuelven a entrar y hacen telarañas. Si crees que esto arruina tus vacaciones, háznoslo saber y nos encargaremos de quitarles el polvo. He tenido en cuenta tu comentario sobre los asientos del inodoro, que ya están reemplazados. Buscaré mosquiteros, pero para información de los futuros huéspedes, tenemos persianas y cortinas en las ventanas. Cuando te marchaste, creo que dijiste que era un ventilador en particular, así que también lo investigaremos. Pero, ¿una estrella por algunas telarañas y un ventilador ruidoso? Muy injusto.

This kind of review makes me sad. To think that a holiday maker would rather be dissatisfied about the holiday and rush home and give a bad review rather than email me, or my keyholder so that we can correct any issues is bewildering. The house is thoroughly cleaned between guests, and our keyholder is there in person to let you in. To any future guests, please let us know as soon as possible if there is anything you are dissatisfied about, and we will do everything we can to correct it. Este tipo de reseñas me entristecen. Pensar que un turista preferiría estar insatisfecho con sus vacaciones y apresurarse a volver a casa y dejar una mala reseña en lugar de enviarme un correo electrónico a mí o a mi encargado de llaves para que podamos corregir cualquier problema es desconcertante. La casa se limpia a fondo entre huéspedes y nuestro encargado de llaves está allí en persona para dejarte entrar. A los futuros huéspedes, les rogamos que nos hagan saber lo antes posible si hay algo con lo que no están satisfechos y haremos todo lo posible por corregirlo.

Thank you for your review, and acknowledging the “spacious and pleasant” garden. To be honest I was expecting a poor review given that I had to keep the security deposit. On arrival, you were advised that the door could catch the winds when all the windows were opened. Unfortunately you did nothing to stop this from happening and left it until changeover day for the damage to be discovered. The door was left in a dangerous state, which meant the following guests, did not have the house with a dividing door (between the living and sleeping areas) as we had to completely remove it for safety purposes. I wonder which fridge you are referring to? The one in the kitchen was brand new, as the old one had started to fail under the previous guests, who were very patient and kind whilst we tried to get a technician out to it. We replaced it immediately once the technician said it would be quicker to buy a new one. The old one was placed in the BBQ area, which we thought would be useful for keeping drinks cold poolside, and it would suffice for this use only. If you are saying this was the one that was not very good, you were advised of the situation and the intended use explained. I am sure it will have been some use to you, during your parties of were held at our house, with 18 people, exceeding the expected occupancy. (Whilst guests are welcome, I am not sure you confirmed such a large number of people would be using the villa?). As for the other issues; the microwave – brand new this season, and you did not report you were having difficulty using it, the hot water was not reported, nor was it a gas issue. All of these were working as advertised on changeover. As for the ants they were not there when you took over the house, and you must know that in this heat you must not leave food around to avoid attracting them. To future guests, if anything is disrupting your holiday, please let us know straight away so we can do our best to sort it out. Please do not leave it to a review to let us know, as most of these issues can be sorted out in a matter of hours.

Thanks for staying with us. My directions are from the opposite side from florentinas, which is why my directions don’t mention it! At any time, if you get lost our key holders are on hand to help should you need them. I am sorry you weren’t satisfied with the time it took to return you deposit. Please be assured for your extra protection the owners never even have this paid to them. It is held by the booking site who return it automatically.
