We had a fantastic week in Monmouth and the surrounding area with lots of lovely walks (Beechenhurst Sculpture Park and The Sugar Loaf) a trip to the Brecon Mountain Railway and Hereford as well as time spent in Monmouth and Abergavenny, both of which have great markets. The Lodge is, without doubt, one of the best properties we have stayed in. It is very well equipped with 3 shower rooms with wonderful “rain” showers and generously large, soft towels. The decor and everything else in the property is of the highest quality and the outside seating including two sun loungers meant we could relax and enjoy the stunning views from the garden. Thank you for a super week. We will be back!
