Ons verblijf in dit vakantiehuis was werkelijk een droom die uitkwam. Het huis, gelegen midden tussen de olijfbomen op een heuvel, bood ons een authentieke ervaring. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we betoverd door de schoonheid van de omgeving. Het huis zelf was een juweeltje. De keuken was niet alleen goed uitgerust, maar had ook een rustieke charme die perfect paste bij de sfeer van de plaats. We hebben genoten van het bereiden van heerlijke maaltijden met verse ingrediënten. Het woonvertrek was een gezellige en comfortabele ruimte waar we 's avonds vaak bijeenkwamen. De inrichting was smaakvol en droeg bij aan de warme en uitnodigende sfeer van het huis. Het voelde echt als een thuis weg van huis. Hoewel de weg (Via della Badiola) naar het huis toe onverhard was, was deze prima te berijden. Het toevoegen van een vleugje avontuur aan de reis maakte het des te spannender, en de beloning bij aankomst was elke hobbel en bocht meer dan waard. De heer Morreti, de gastheer, was uiterst aardig en behulpzaam gedurende ons verblijf. Hij beantwoordde al onze vragen en handelde adequaat op onze verzoeken. Zijn gastvrijheid droeg bij aan de algehele positieve ervaring. We kunnen dit vakantiehuis van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een vredige, authentieke en prachtige plek om te verblijven te midden van de olijfgaarden.

Umbrien ist ein Traum - und dieses Quartier ist es auch! Es handelt sich um ein Olivenbauernhaus in malerischer Alleinlage, sehr geschmackvoll und stiltreu-natürlich eingerichtet, geräumig, mit beeindruckenden Bildern an den uralten Wänden - einfach toll. Man glaubt, in der Zeit zurückzureisen. Dieses Haus gehört definitiv hierher, es ist kein Hochglanz-Ufo, das hier gelandet ist (bei manchen Quartieren hat man ja so den Eindruck). Wer Luxus sucht, ist hier nicht richtig, wer dem Land, der umbrischen Erde näher kommen will, schon... Wir haben uns von Anfang an definitiv wohlgefühlt. Es gibt kein WLAN, keinen Fernseher, auch keinen Geschirrspüler, keine Klimaanlage, keinen großen Backofen (nur eine Kombi-Mikrowelle mit Grill/Backofenfunktion), an Geschirr das Nötigste (hier haben uns die kleinen flachen Teller für das Frühstück gefehlt, es gab nur große), keine Waschmaschine - das ist wichtig zu wissen. Es ist eben eine auch kleine Reise zurück zu den Wurzeln, was den Erholungseffekt eher noch unterstützt. Die Nächte waren anfangs heiß und drückend (bis wir uns akklimatisiert hatten), denn es gab nur einen Ventilator - sollen mehrere Schlafzimmer belegt werden, wäre es also sinnvoll, noch einen mitzubringen. Der Vermieter Andrea Moretti (selbst Olivenbauer, wohnt aber NICHT mit auf dem Grundstück, hier seid ihr allein) ist freundlich und angenehm, die Kommunikation läuft englisch. Es ist ratsam, vor Eintreffen bei ihm anzurufen - er wird Euch sagen, wo der Schlüssel liegt und dann die Anfahrt noch einmal genau beschreiben, denn die ist über zwei Wege bzw. Pisten möglich: Navigationssysteme (u.a. auch Google Maps) weisen den Weg i.d.R. über die VIA MONTE PETRETO, die ist steil und in schlechtem Zustand, voll beladen mit vier Leuten und Gepäck sind wir aufgesessen, ihr bräuchtet also viel Bodenfreiheit und in regenreicheren Zeiten vielleicht auch Allradantrieb. Besser geht es über die VIA DELLA BADIOLA, gleich nach dem Ortsausgang die nächste rechts, dann immer links halten. Die Lage des Hauses ist herrlich. Geht man den Weg 10 Minuten nach oben, öffnet sich ein grandioses Panorama mit Blick über den Lago Trasimeno. Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Todi, Spoleto ... - alle wichtigen Orte sind gut zu erreichen, selbst an die Adria lohnt sich ein Abstecher (130 km, 2 Stunden Fahrt). Nachts hört ihr bei offenem Fenster (alle sind mit Mückenschutz ausgestattet) hinaus in das Konzert der Zikaden...

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön gelegen und mit dem Auto über einen Schotterweg erreichbar.Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und gut erreichbar. Der Blick vom Garten über das Tal in Richtung Magione ist wunderschön.Das authentische Haus besticht durch die verzierten Fensterläden und Gemälde. Alle Fenster sind mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer ist geräumig und verfügt über eine Badewanne, in der Sie duschen können. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und die Betten sind gut und sauber. Auch der Rest des Hauses, wie zB die Küche, ist sauber. Wenn Sie durch die Küche gehen, zittert der Boden leicht. Draußen gibt es Gartenstühle und einen Tisch. Der Garten hat einige ebene Flächen und ist überwiegend abfallend. Das Anwesen befindet sich im 1. Stock des Hauses, daher gibt es keine Türen zum Garten. Mit zwei Sitzen können Sie unter dem Baldachin an der Haustür sitzen. Leider ist der Garten erst spät abends in der Sonne. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in ruhiger Lage und ist von Feldern mit Olivenbäumen umgeben. Es ist nicht ganz still, man hört die Straße in der Ferne. Die Wege um das Haus werden gelegentlich von Jägern mit Hunden und Erholungssuchenden benutzt, aber meistens war es ruhig fantastischer Blick über den Trasimenischen See. Kurz gesagt, ein attraktives Zuhause, nicht luxuriös, aber sauber und alle Grundlagen sind vorhanden. Ländliche Lage mit schöner Aussicht und ideal für die Erkundung von Nord-Umbrien und der südöstlichen Toskana.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus, die Aussicht und die Gemälde an der Wand waren atemberaubend. Andrea, der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Gegend war wunderschön. Lago Trasimeno war um die Ecke. Jeden Abend ein Anruf Eule, Grünspecht und sogar ein Reh am Haus gesehen.
