About the host
Hosted by Mrs Amanda Welch
Hi I am a busy mother of 3 boys. I spend a lot of my time supporting various sporting fixtures, or partaking myself. We moved to Yorkshire when my third son was on the way as we fell in love with the county and have now been here over 15 years. We do not plan to leave!
Why they chose this property
It started because my Mum who was living in Italy full time and wanted to have a base in England for the winter. I chose Helmsley and found her somewhere to rent. It was perfect, in fact she loved it so much that we purchased a property that we could rent out in the summer and she could live in in the winter. I loved doing the holiday lets so when next door became available, we decided to purchase that house too. We have great pride in our properties and love leaving them immaculate for the next guests. We hope you enjoy staying in them.
What makes this property unique
One of the keys things mum realised when she was renting in Helmsley was that the property must be within 1-2 minutes from the centre and needed to have off street parking, as there is nothing worse than coming back and not being able to park outside your house! Both our houses have off street parking and are a minutes walk from the centre.
