This 150-year-old cottage is ideally situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire National Park. With glorious coastline and steeped in history, this is a characterful cottage in a historical town.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: ¾ Double (4ft) Bed. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. . Courtyard with a little seating area. On road parking. No smoking.. The owner have completely transformed and renovated this cottage in 2023, saving the cottage’s heritage and retaining charming original features (such as the beamed ceiling which welcomes you as you first step inside). The living area on the ground floor is open plan, with a wood burner in the hearth ensuring you are cosy, even on the chilliest evenings. The kitchen area is compact yet carefully laid out, with everything you could desire for a self-catering stay, plus a fold out dining table for evening meals. On the ground floor you also have the walk-in shower room, as well as a utility room. Upstairs is the master kingsize bedroom as well as a double bedroom, both beautifully presented.
The Tipsy Bee at 143 is located on the edge of the main street in Guisborough, only steps away from independent shops, eateries and quirky independent bars as well as being less than a 10-minute walk away from the iconic Guisborough Priory. For over 600 years Guisborough has been a market town, with a market held every Thursday and Saturday. Guisborough Forest has walking and cycle trails, as well as children’s play areas and a visitor centre with a café. The National Park is on your doorstep, with glorious scenery accessed by a network of walking and cycling trails, plus the heritage coastline is only 6 miles away.
You are in the perfect position to discover the finest natural beauty spots in North Yorkshire. This is an ideal destination for lovers of the great outdoors. For a scenic walk, Roseberry Topping is the highest viewpoint on the moors, and it is near to Captain Cook’s Monument so you can extend the hike if you wish.
