Best kept secret in town

We had the most amazing stay in Madrid. Monica was extremely helpful. Her place is clean, close to everything. We had a great time, rested well and enjoyed our time in Madrid. I highly recommend this place.

Holiday with friends

A very nice apartment in a good place in the city with loads of bars, restaurants and shops close by. The apartment was very clean and had everything you'll need whilst you stay there. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Fab location

Fantastic location to explore the city. Can walk to most sights in 10-20 minutes. Two metro stops if you don’t want to walk or for places further away. Clean and lots of space. Monica is lovely

Description not entirely accurate…..

Monica was a great host and very helpful. The property is a converted shop at street level. Passing foot traffic can see in. 1st night, an intruder climbed thru the front windows at 3am, we scared him off. Windows and shutters locked after that, so no sunhine. Great location, near everything, inc. Metro, but with drawbacks.

Charming Loft

This is a charming loft in a very convenient location. Shopping and restaurants are in walking distance. Taxis are frequently available if you want to venture out. I stayed with my husband and 5 yo son and we had plenty of space to move around. The kitchen is fully stocked and even had lactose free milk and cereal available for my son. The bathroom is very small but shower was hot with great water pressure. Monica was an excellent host and greeted us with wine, pastries, and flowers. She provided us with great suggestions of places to visit during our stay. Monica was also super communicative and response via the VRBO messaging system. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Visiting family

This property was ideally located. My niece lives in Madrid and loved the location. The shopping area and lovely restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. Monica was always at the end of the phone if we ever needed anything....which we didn't as she had thought of everything. We had a lovely breakfast provided and fresh milk in the fridge.I have a dairy intolerance so I was very impressed to see lactose free milk in the fridge. If your stay was longer this apartment had everything you needed to cook....even herbs. It was a very quiet area and the beds were so comfortable. There were 3 adults in the apartment. It was so spacious. The shower had great pressure and air conditioning was ideal. Monica was a lovely person and has looked after her apartment to a high standard. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back .Madrid is the most beautiful city I have ever been and I have travelled to a few.

Prime Location

The location was a great jumping off point for experiencing Madrid. Centrally located with easy metro access. Airport is about 20 minutes away, too. Plenty of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, interesting shops, etc., nearby. The manager was attentive, responded promptly, and took care of requests right away. The food selection she stocked the apartment with was really nice. The drawbacks, while not fatal, were the bathroom and the entry lock. The bathroom was miniscule. Whatever you're imagining, it's smaller. The front door lock required training and felt like you were solving a trick puzzle. It took quite a lot of practice as it was unnecessarily complex. The property manager did offer to come back for additional tutoring, so at least we weren't ever abandoned. Those aren't reasons to avoid this property. They simply exist. No property is 100% perfect. The "primary residents" were my daughter and her boyfriend (I returned home after the first night). They said they liked it and would stay there again. Interestingly, this property was once a store, I think. The window facing the front has some leftover signage and people occasionally pose in front of it for photos. To us, that was kind of a fun bonus and gave the place some added charm.

Hi Coby,you was at home 1 night and the rest of the days (9 days) was your daughter and boyfriend . They feel comfortable and happy there,i was talking with them during these days by wash up. The bathroom is small for one man like you with( 2 metres,)of course;people can see the photos of all places from my home For open the door your daughter (who was there )open perfectly so what do you want??? Maybe you like the little details ,i’m property Premium,so maybe people feel all is perfect ☺️ Im sad for you have little things you don’t love Im always do my best

Me alojé tres noches en este apartamento y, en general, la experiencia fue aceptable. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno Malasaña, con fácil acceso al metro, restaurantes y tiendas.Mónica, la anfitriona, fue muy atenta. La limpieza estaba bien y el desayuno incluido fue un buen detalle.Sin embargo, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba del todo bien, algunas noches fueron incómodas y el baño es muy pequeño. Al estar en un bajo, también se nota algo de ruido de la calle.A pesar de estos detalles, tiene buena relación calidad-precio y su ubicación es una gran ventaja.

Querido Jordi; Me alegra que hayas estado a gusto Los detalles que redactas no son del todo reales; El aire acondicionado funciona perfectamente,te lo explique pero erais 4 chicos de risas y no me prestasteis mucha atención Además hay 5 radiadores adicionales de los cuales te deje 2 encendidos El loft son 65 metros ,el baño es proporcional a estas medidas;y esta reformado y a estrenar hace 3 meses Si quieres una casa de 100 metros tendrás que pagarlo y leer bien antes de reservar ….(la mia pone “65 metros en la descripción del alojamiento”) Y el centro de la ciudad se caracteriza por tener vida y gente con lo que algún ruido puede haber (aunque mi calle es bastante tranquila) Habéis pagado 35 euros por persona en Chueca,un auténtico regalo☺️ Agradezco tus palabras
