As we stood within the beautifully landscaped garden of this stylish semi-detached village house, surrounded by the bright blooms of Mediterranean plants and a picturesque fusion of neat lawns and decorative tiles, our eyes were instantly drawn to the stunning backdrop of mountains that rose imposingly beyond a valley of meadows and fruit orchards to the rear. Remarkably, we were at the same time, only 100m from the bustling centre of Orgiva with its array of local shops, varied restaurants and lively weekly produce market.
Being within such a short stroll of amenities whilst simultaneously enjoying scenic mountain views is a key reason why sister properties Encantadora and Buganvilla have become so popular with our guests, many of whom return year after year to enjoy their wonderful location. And this is to say nothing of the great care, discretion and kindness displayed by Rosa, the charming owner, who has (to everyone’s delight!) now restored her original family residence to create a smart, up-to-the-minute home in this same, much sought after setting.

Sporting an eye-catching collage of southern Spanish tiles, a generously sized barbecue and a well-stocked range of in-built units and appliances, this is sure to delight those wishing to prepare meals al fresco whilst the arched covered terrace that adjoins the house provides a perfect spot in which to dine.
On days when cooking does not appeal, a pleasing selection of restaurants can be found just a 5 minute walk away in the local market town of Orgiva. Alternatively a picturesque drive along the mountain roads will reveal the charming hillside villages of Pampaneira, Capileira, Bubión and Trevélez, whilst the Moorish architecture and ancient sites of Granada await discovery just a 55 minute drive northwards.

Rosa does not use the first floor terrace nor any of the ground floor facilities and your privacy will be fully respected at all times.
