This is a perfect base for couples wishing to explore the picturesque and undiscovered Alpujarras. In the house your comfort is assured since the charming rooms are tastefully decorated, with smart terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and colourful fabrics combining to make the accommodation cheerful and appealing. For days out, you are spoilt for choice since the area has so much to offer: trek or cycle along the myriad of ancient roads and footpaths that traverse the surrounding countryside; drive south through stunning mountain scenery to coastal Salobreña (a 30 minute drive) or, for a dose of culture, head north to discover the ancient Moorish city of Granada, just 55 minutes away by car.
