Villa Raffaelli, in the proximity of the famous walled city of Lucca, is located in the heart of the Valley of Garfagnana: a region in the north Tuscany immersed in pristine greenery, full of small villages perched on the slopes of the mountains famous for it’s nature and mountains.

Villa Raffaelli offers you a relaxing experience: you will enjoy a large outdoor swimming pool and a heated jacuzzi hot tub covered by a large see-through glass bubble. On request it is also possible to follow a wellness program for the care of your body and spirit. Your vacation is a break from everyday stress, so recharge your energy!

The Valley of Garfagnana on the other hand offers you endless possibilities for outdoor activities. Trekking, e-biking, canyoning and lots of other experiences are waiting for you. Come and discover the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the Pania with the famous Dead Man Mountain (Omo Morto), the Monte Forato (one of the few and biggest natural arches in Italy) and the Mount Croce, or just come and visit the most characteristic villages!

Within easy reach of Villa Raffaelli are: Lucca (35 km) a characteristic Tuscan town, Versilia (60 km) for lovers of the sea, Pisa (40 km) and Florence (100 km), the marble quarries of Carrara, and the Cinque Terre, a Unesco World Heritage site.

Vacation with friends in an absolut gorgeous House

We had an great time in Fosciandorawith 10 friends. The House has everything you need including a Jacuzzi, Pool and a big terrace with amazing views of the Garfagana valley. We probably come again next year. Leonardo and his staff were great hosts. A big thanks for the great time.

Extraordinary experience

Villa Raffaelli is located in a a highly elevated position offering great views over many valleys .The house has very large entertainment areas and the bedrooms have easy access to bathroom facilities. Suits large family or small group of unrelated couples . A great amount of history is associated with the Villa which makes the stay very interesting and enjoyable.

Ein wunderbarer Ort um Urlaub zu machen

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Raffaelli war wunderschön. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Freunden und die Villa bot ausreichend Platz für alle von uns. Auch der Außenbereich hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Den Pool und die zahlreichen Liegemöglichkeiten nutzten wir aufgrund des herbstlichen Wetters eher selten aber dafür boten der Whirlpool, die Tischtennisplatte und die Fahrräder - welche zur Unterkunft dazu sind - tolle Möglichkeiten den Spätsommer vor der Villa zu genießen. Leonardo ist ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war super und er gab uns immer viele Empfehlungen oder Angebote für Aktivitäten. Ab und an schaute er nach uns, um sich zu vergewissern ob wir etwas bräuchten. Die Villa ist ein absolutes Highlight für große Gruppen, die eine ruhige und entspannte Zeit in der Toskana genießen wollen.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in atemberaubender Atmosphäre

Leonardo hat dafür gesorgt, dass unser Aufenthalt unvergesslich bleibt. Das Anwesen ist wirklich schön und immer sauber gehalten. Die Landschaft um das Anwesen taugt gut für Wander- und Radtouren. Absolute Empfehlung! Vielen Dank, Leonardo und alle anderen!

Verzauberter fantastischer Ort

Im alten und authentisch eingerichteten Palazzo fühlt man sich sofort verzaubert und in zurückliegende Jahrhunderte versetzt. Hoch auf den Hügeln hat man fantastische Ausblicke auf die Natur und den Sonnenuntergang von der riesigen Terrasse mit alten Pflanzen oder vom ruhig und abgetrennt liegenden Pool. Man kann in größerer Gruppe Ruhe finden oder die umliegenden Dörfer mit tollen Lokalen und Kirchen oder Naturschauspiele erkunden. Die Badezimmer sind einfach, die Küche komplett eingerichtet. Das Hausinnere pittoresk und ein durchaus interessantes Sammelsurium von Antiquitäten. Leonardo und sein Team sind immer erreichbar und bemüht, Fragen und kleinere Probleme rasch zu lösen. Vielen Dank!
