Thank you Sam for your review. Paul and I are delighted you enjoyed your stay at La Mirabelle and it fitted your, and your lovely dogs' needs. You were perfect guests and it was a pleasure having you to stay in our gite. We thoroughly enjoyed your company.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful holiday gite and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The gite was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. If something wasn’t available Dawn was quick to resolve. The pool and surrounding views were incredible. A truly relaxing and unforgettable stay. Thank you Dawn and Paul xx

Thank you Michaela for your review. It was a pleasure to meet you and your boys, and to host you in our gite.
Delighted that you loved our gite, the pool and fabulous views. Best wishes Dawn and Paul
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful, thoughtfully-equipped property. Everything you might need is provided, and everything worked well. The owners, Dawn and Paul, live next door and are available should you need them, but never intrude. Dawn really goes the extra mile to ensure that her guests enjoy their holiday, and they are a great source of advice and recommendations for the area. We enjoyed having exclusive use of the lovely swimming pool which is in their garden, but is in a separate section, away from their house. We would certainly stay in this property again.

About the host
Hosted by Dawn Keddie
Paul and I moved to the Dordogne in 2020 after 10 years in the Vosges Mountains, N.E. France, where we successfully welcomed guests into our holiday rental for many years. We know how important holidays are and we aim to make your holiday in the Dordogne as happy as possible by providing accommodation that is clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We are here to help and provide information and love a chat if that's what you want. If it's peace, quiet and privacy then we will leave you alone to enjoy the privacy that the gite provides. The garden is private and the gite is not overlooked. From the front door there are plenty of tracks for walking or country lanes for cycling.
Why they chose this property
We live in a hamlet of around 12 houses surrounded by fields, woods and working farms. Our swimming pool overlooks the valley below and has the most fantastic view. The setting is private and peaceful, rural but only 4kms from the market town of Riberac with its cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, Friday market, banks, pharmacy etc. In the holiday season there are plenty of activities - sports, brocantes, evening markets with supper and evening walks, music festivals and local open garden days, village fetes, chateaux to visit, vineyards and wine tasting and much more. Famous for its rivers, there are canoe centres at most of the towns alongside these rivers, beautiful walks and fishing.
What makes this property unique
We like to think that our gite is homely and provides you with everything you need for a well-earned holiday. Living on the premises we are available, should you need us, whether it's information on the best restaurants, doctors, good local walks for your dog or playgrounds for your children. There is a fully enclosed garden with patio furniture which leads direct from the kitchen. A short walk alongside the rose walkway takes you to the the heated, salt swimming pool. The pool is private with pool furniture provided and has a beautiful view over the valley. Our friendly neighbour recently built a boule terrain and welcomes use by ourselves and our gite guests.
