) hotes toujours a l'ecoute.
Thanks again dear Elizabeth for your welcome, your help, your kindness, it was really lovely to be in your house ! Merci beaucoup and see you soon I hope ! Take care, Cristina & Eric & Wystan & Teresa
Thank you so much Beth and Findlay, we spent a very pleasant time in your gite...

Everything about this property was just as described. It had a comfortable cottagey feel about it, beautiful decoration, and the kitchen was very well equipped with no lack of crockery, cutlery or cooking utensils. The weather was mixed during our stay but having the pool on the hot days was a real bonus. Being able to receive British TV channels was also great. We spent a very peaceful week in the area and thoroughly enjoyed being out in the middle of the countryside. Elizabeth and Findlay were great hosts, very discreet but available whenever needed. I can definitely recommend this place.
We had a great stay, the location was just right for us and only a short drive for all your needs. The gite was well presented Beth and Finlay were on hand if needed for help and advise. We intend to return later in the year

Heaven
After a very disappointing stay in another HomeAway property it was wonderful to arrive to a very warm welcome at Beth & Findlay's lovely little cottage. The welcome pack is a lovely touch, and the cottage is very well thought out and well equipped. You do need to drive everywhere as there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, but as long as you're happy with that then this place is a dream. The pool is positioned wonderfully overlooking the fields, but at times was not overly inviting as it was cloudy and we did have to keep clearing leaves and dead flies. As far as we're concerned that's the only area where there is a little room for improvement, as everything else was just lovely.

Thanks to Elisabeth & her family

Prettily perfect
Arrived to a warm welcome. My mum immediately claimed the armchair next to the brilliant pellet burner. The cottage was warm, comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. Garden perfect for our dog.
Beth and family couldn't do enough for us from the basket of food on arrival to arranging our vet appointment for worming tablet.
Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in this area. You do need to drive for shops and bars but that is typical of rural France. Loved it.

Thank you so much for a most wonderful holiday!!
It's always difficult to sum up feelings about a holiday in so few words but, for us, the memories will be detailed and long lasting. The fine line between 'being there' for guests but allowing them space must be hard to master but Beth, Findlay, Garry and Guy have certainly got it just right. We have really enjoyed our conversations but have also appreciated the opportunities to enjoy the gite, the garden, the pool and the times to relax as a family.
'Home from Home' comes to mind when we think of the comforts within the gite itself. It has been so comfortable. I have to say that the pool has been a real bonus, especially for our son. Our young Labrador has also welcomed the 'play sessions' with the owner's dogs Tao, Bebe and Teddy, and with Garry whenever he was watering with the garden hose! Beth and her family and friends have been so kind.
The early mornings with mist rolling off the adjacent field, the excellent weather and the sunset in the evenings can't be forgotten.
Thank you so much for a most wonderful holiday!!

Perfect Stay with Generous and Friendly Hosts
From the very beginning, our hosts were incredibly helpful and generous. They picked us up from the train station and took us to their cozy and warm cottage in the beautiful French countryside. Beth and Findlay made sure that we were never wanting and we became friends almost immediately. The cottage is well-equipped and right out of a fairytale. We honestly wish that we could stay there forever - a great mix of accommodating hosts and comfortable lodgings. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see vineyards, beautiful old towns, and peaceful country while not worrying about anything. Thanks Beth, Findlay, and family!

Ideal destination to explore the area
The cottage was perfect for our purposes as a great setting from which to get to know this area, with easy access to both Aubeterre & Verteilac. Very comfortable, spotless & welcoming. The wood burner, which uses wood pellets & is on a timer, kept us very cosy in the chillier early mornings & evenings & was a delight to come back to. Beth & her family were extremely friendly & helpful.

Wonderful
We've just returned from a week in the Dordogne and can't recommend this lovely cottage highly enough. In a peaceful location, it was really well equipped and we had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our three year old son, and two dogs. Our host, Beth, and her family were very friendly and helpful, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat if we return to the region.

Lovely relaxing holiday
My husband and I had a lovely week at this charming gite. Beth was very helpful and did everything possible to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and had all that we needed. It is situated in the middle of beautiful, peaceful countryside and there are lots of attractive towns and villages to visit in the local area. We would highly recommended.

Couldn't have asked for more!
We had a most wonderful week at Beth and Finlay's gite. We second everything that has been said. So warm and friendly it was like staying with friends. The gite lacked for nothing and is in a beautiful, rural location. We walked down the lane and watched the sunset every evening with awe. We would definitely like to stay again because it would be difficult to imagine a more peaceful, relaxing place to stay.

Loveliest holiday gite ever!
This charming, idyllically situated and beautifully furnished gite was our base for a week's holiday in the Perigord Vert earlier this month. We were warmly welcomed by Beth, who lives next door and was kindness and hospitality itself. She really went above and beyond to make ours a comfortable and enjoyable holiday and treated us like old friends, happy to give advice and assistance wherever needed. We spent a magical week in the region and found the gite to be exceptionally comfortable, very well equipped and the finishing touches to the lovely chic decor made us feel well and truly at home. Everything that we could possibly need had been provided- the beds and sofas were comfortable, the shower was powerful, ample towels and a hairdryer were provided, and the kitchen was perfectly kitted out with high quality items. Above all, the gite felt like it have been loved and looked after, and so it was a home from home for us. The location is perfect for those countryside-lovers who want peace and tranquility whilst still being ideally situated to visit the sites of the area- the fabulous village of Aubeterre, Riberac, the nearby lake beaches, chateaux and sites of the north west Dordogne such as Brantome and Perigeux. The views from the bedroom window are charming and the surrounding countryside is beautiful- completely unspoilt. On the hottest days we reveled in being able to use the pool and private garden. We drove down in order to see more of France, but there are such good links to Bergerac and Bordeaux airports that this would be a more quick and convenient option for future. The restaurant at Verteillac, 'A Table' is particularly worth driving to for dinner if you stay here. All in all, we loved the gite so much we cannot wait to come again!
