This holiday rental, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, features all the amenities and air conditioning in every room. An oasis of relaxation where you can stroll through the vineyard and olive grove and wake up to the crowing of a cockerel. Ciampino Airport is a 15-minute drive away, and to get to the city centre, take the train from the nearby station (ticket €1.50), which takes 15 minutes to reach the heart of Rome. This historic farmhouse is located in a quiet and exclusive area, and there’s a bike path you can take to walk to the station. You can admire and photograph our collection of vintage cars, the old windmill, and the antique farming tools—everything here has a storey! The family lives on the property, but you’ll have complete privacy; however, we’re always available to offer advice and help, whether you’re planning your trip or once you’re here. We were very pleased to find a quiet place to stay right outside of Rome. Rossana was very welcoming, friendly and informative, suggesting a variety of restaurants. The place was clean and neat with very easy parking. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

This was great location, it was close to the train which was a short train ride to Rome.The host Rosana was great, she was friendly and very helpful in explaining how to get where we needed to go. The suite was well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable.Great value for the money!

Cute house! Backyard with pool was beautiful (although too cold for us to enjoy). Host was very helpful and friendly. Safe neighborhood. Some local resturaunts were easily accessible. Only cons: decent distance from center of Rome and main attractions (although a good location if you want to stay away from the busy areas). Could benefit from more towels —had 2 for 2 people for the 4 days (although I’m sure host would have provided more of asked). Great stay! Thanks again!

Great House, Proprietor, and Location

The owner of the house was extremely helpful and nice. Location was nice and close enough to Rome and other sights, yet far enough away to sleep well and have peace and quiet. I will stay again when I return to Rome.

Good location. Close enough to walk to supermarket and 2 train stations. Pool was nice. Air conditioning very helpful during the summer heat. Would recommend to any groups up to 4 people.

Italian Villa!

Cute Italian farmhouse outside of Rome. Check-in was easy and the host was very hospitable with great communication! A little far out but can take public transportation close to the house. Nice place to stay!

The host is such a lovely lady, check in and out very easy. Lovely villa and garden with pool. Convenient location easy to get a train into Rome or elsewhere. Supermarket close by and Ciampino is a lovely area with shops and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for the host. Would highly recommend it.

The property and location are lovely. Our check in was easy and we enjoyed the house and gardens. The walk to the town and trains was okay. Our hostess, Rossana was, by far the best part of our experience. She kindly drove us places for the cost of petrol. We were less than half hour from Ciampino airport which cost 20 for a taxi. I would love to come back here but mostly to visit Rossana ;)

The host was very accommodating. Unfortunately we were looking forward to the pool the most but it was drained and not prepared as we hoped. We are from Alberta and a short swim would of been nice. For future reference maybe the host should let visitors know that the pool will not be available. A care is definitely a must as it is a little out of the way. In general it was a good stay

During your stay, although the season is usually favourable, the weather was unusually cold — so much so that you requested the heating to be on day and night. Additionally, we’d like to mention that during the last two days of your stay, the pool was fully operational, but it was not used. I'm happy that the rest of your stay was enjoyable and we appreciate you choosing our property.

Nice place to lounge not as place to see Rome from

Place is 300 meter from street by google map. The nearest station is just a platform and a very long and unsafe walk to get too. Nice pool and quite place. But a mistake if you wish to use it as a base to tour Rome. To get to things you either have rented a car or use taxis or walk. If walking you need to be in good shape for it is very tiring.

You are the guests more dirty that i never had. The apartment needed of 10 hours for clean It, and your bad smell was so difficult to go away. Our villa Is not the Place for you, next time you can book a awful hotel in the center!!!!

Oasis of tranquility on Rome's doorstep

My wife and I had an excellent few days staying here. The property is well situated for travel to and from both Rome airports but especially Ciampino. Rossana the host is excellent and always available if you need her but leaves you to your privacy when you don't. Having a car (or motorbike) is really preferable as a bit off the beaten track but you don't need to drive in to Rome center to explore as you can park at nearby station and take the train. But you may well find the tranquility of the lovely garden and swimming pool too inviting to stay away from. We did. Our dog especially enjoyed exploring the olive grove and vineyard. Overall a great and versatile place to stay.

All things can be true and still be unattainable

This was to be the last leg of my sister and I's trip across Italy so we chose to stay 6 days at a house so we could relax and see Rome. Found this Farm House and pictures were lovely so we booked it. It never stated anywhere that the owner lived upstairs with the whole family. We never went past our front door area because we didn't want to intrude on the family. Its a lovely place, its a private house on a big lot and looks perfect in pictures, But who's going to swim or lounge by a pool with the owners staring down on you - I imagine no one.

We absolutely do not look at the guests!!! We stay in our apartment and are very discreet, we do not use the pool when there are guests. At most we are happy to offer a glass of wine, at sunset, to guests who show us that they want to socialize with us 😊

It did the job

Nice friendly host. Quite property. Very clean and nice size rooms. A bit of a walk to the train stations but easily manageable. The TV didn't get the best reception but we weren't there to watch TV anyways. The pool wasn't open, probably to early in the season for it. Our biggest complaint was the showers were a bit difficult. They leaked all over the floor and one has a curtain that makes it extremely small to actually shower without the curtain sticking to you or you bumping the controls changing the temperature. All in all we had a good trip

L'accueil a été chaleureux à l'arrivée mais nous sommes allés de mauvaises surprises en mauvaises surprises. Période de fortes chaleurs (38) et la climatisation est très dure à régler (finalement on nous dit qu'elle gèle en dessous de 22 et qu'ensuite, elle ne marche plus comme il faut) /la porte des toilettes était HS, impossible de fermer / l'eau était plus souvent froide que chaude /la cuisine et le frigo ne sont pas adaptés pour une famille de 5 pers : très difficile de cuisiner et de ranger (frigo trop petit) /passage du train juste à côté en plus des bruits des avions de l'aéroport de Ciampino / le robinet de la cuisine était déjà défectueux en arrivant et il a lâché un soir, donc coupure d'eau (mais vite réparé le lendemain matin) /je pense qu'il y avait un essaim de guêpes dans le jardin : impossible de diner dehors le soir ou de profiter des transats au bord de la piscine /la pièce à vivre est la cuisine sans aucune fenêtre et vu qu'on ne pouvait pas ouvrir la porte à cause des guêpes, on dinait dans une cuisine fermée et sombre/ peu d'isolation au bruit entre l'étage où résident les proprio et nous, on entendait la chasse d'eau et leurs pas.../enfin, alors que je lui ai remonté tous ces problèmes, la seule réponse de la propriétaire a été de me traiter de "menteur comme un arracheur de dents !" une honte ! cela ne vaut pas ce que l'on a payé : 250 la nuit. cela a gâché la fin de nos vacances : aussi bien le logement que l'attitude du propriétaire.

Rosanna und ihre Familien haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns Tips gegeben, für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen und der Bahn empfanden wir keine Beeinträchtigung. Auch ein Supermarkt ist in der Nähe. Den Pool haben wir leider nicht genutzt, da zu viele Mücken dort waren, weshalb wir ans Meer gefahren sind.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns perfekt um mit dem Zug nach Rom zu reisen. Die Unterkunft selbst befindet sich in einem sehr charmanten Haus. Der Garten und Pool sind wirklich einladend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Base perfetta per esplorare la zona

È stato bello trovare un posto dove stare con un breve viaggio in treno a Roma ma anche con ampio parcheggio, un meraviglioso giardino e una piscina! Padrone di casa molto cordiale. Ottima base per esplorare Tivoli, Villa Adriana ecc.

Nous cherchions une location à proximité de Rome. Celle-ci a toutes les qualités pour nous. Facile d'atteindre le centre par la gare de Ciampino. Surtout ne pas passer par le parking d'Anagnina très peu sûr.

Piccolo paradiso alle porte di Roma

La struttura è appena fuori il GRA di Roma, ma in una posizione strategica: vicina al centro e allo stesso tempo vicina ai Castelli Romani e alle autostrade per Firenze e Napoli. La struttura è una villa all’interno di un terreno agricolo coltivato ad ulivi e vitigno. La zona residenziale è molto tranquilla, con un bel giardino e piscina a disposizione e posto auto. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per 2 settimane ed abbiamo prenotato un appartamentino con 2 stanze da letto (ognuna con bagno esclusivo interno) ed un soggiorno con angolo cottura. Abbiamo alternato ai vari ristoranti dei pranzi e cene fatti a casa utilizzando la piccola, ma funzionale cucina e mangiando sia in soggiorno che in giardino sfruttando le giornate di sole. La pulizia delle camere è stata sempre ottima e l’Host Rossana è stata sempre gentilissima e disponibile a venire incontro alle nostre richieste. Assolutamente consigliato sotto tutti gli aspetti. E’ il famoso “porto sicuro” e noi ci torneremo sicuramente!
