Nice townhome close to the base!

The townhome was a very convenient walk to the base of the mountain. Large with plenty of space for our family. The private hot tub on the deck was a nice feature after a long day of skiing. I would recommend the owners clean all the bedroom rugs as they were stained.

Nice walkable to gondola

Enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to the village. Only downside was there was no television service or internet. Management company said owner had not paid the bill.

Clean, roomy and close to everything.

We loved our stay! It was very hot the first night as it had not been opened up for awhile, so it could use a few more fans, but we were able to get it cooled off pretty well at nights after that. The couch and table were large and comfortable for our group of 8 adults. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. (They need some good cutting boards) We reached out to management and they were able to get us a blender that we needed. Beds were comfortable and we loved the hot tub as well. I would recommend this place for sure.

Wonderful spacious property

We had 6 adults and 2 kids for a long weekend ski trip. Getting in and out of the resort was super easy and lots of food options within 10 mins. Easy access to rentals and grocery. The property was very clean. Some of the appliances are a little tricky, the knobs/buttons on the dishwasher and stove need replacing because the labeling is worn off. If you need black out while you sleep, bring a sleep mask. There are shades but they are pretty sheer so quite a bit of light gets through early morning and if you are street facing at night. Other than that, it was exactly what we needed. Hot tub was hot and we were cozy all weekend. Definitely would rent again!

The condo has a great layout and in a great location

My fiancée and I stayed at the condo with 3 other couples. The layout of the condo was great with 4 bedrooms (2 of which have en suite bathrooms and the other 2 share a Jack and Jill). The kitchen had everything we needed and the family room was spacious for all of us. We could walk to the base of the mountain with our ski gear in about 5-7 minutes, so that was very convenient. The beds, while luxurious, were too firm for our preference but that’s easily fixed if you bring a mattress topper. The shuttle service that serves the condo is also very convenient to get into town or anywhere else. The driver drive the shuttle like he was competing in a nascar event but we made it to and from our location safely. I’d definitely recommend this condo to anybody who is going with a larger group and wants easy access to the slopes.

Will book somewhere else next time.....

Although, overall we had a nice time in a steamboat it will be some time before we return. We arrived rather late on a Saturday after flying in to Denver. Came over the pass in a snow storm which was exciting for skiing prospects. Home is nicely furnished. Three levels with a Master in basement with the garage. Didn’t really like that layout. Upstairs bedrooms were too hot to sleep in. Thermostats set at 70 but the heat is from radiators and did not seem to respond quickly/ or at all to changes. Very uncomfortable. Unit right on corner of busy area and surrounded by similar condos. “Neighbors” had very loud party outside around 2 am. Listened to it for about an hour and called police. They sent a car to see if they could get them to go inside or calm down. Half an hour later at 3:30 am Snow removal with a skid loader started right under our windows. Impossible to sleep even with the fans we dragged out to cool rooms off. That was our worst night. Rooms continued to be to warm despite talking to management. Finally just turned thermostats off. ( still released some heat). Biggest problem experienced was that WiFi and internet didn’t work all week. Huge inconvenience as had work that needed to be done by all of us. Would make trips to A local coffee shop to use free WiFi. Talked to people at Retreatia pretty much everyday with them saying would be fixed by end of day. Never happened. Finally found out bill hadn’t been paid and we would not get internet. They refunded a night stay. Overall, pretty frustrating stay. Also, if you decide to go to Steamboat make sure you take advantage of any discounted lift tickets available before hand. We did not and found impossible to get deals once you’re there. Seems like most expensive mountain in CO with daily lift tix at $165 a day.

Good location and spacious condo ( for 5). There was Construction and detour right by condo so loud and early am noise - mostly trucks. No ac which is common, but still warm at night.

Great location and property, but service was not up to expectations

We love the location and the property was great. There were several service/convenience related issues, beginning with the unit not being ready for check in at the published time. There was an issue with the smoke detector alarms going off due dead batteries, which took several calls to get addressed. There was also no need to check in or out at the office location. This was an inconvenience that we have not experienced during our stay at the other Blackhawk townhomes we have stayed in over the past several years.

Stunning, well-equipped property in a great location

The condo is beautiful and very spacious. The beds were supremely comfortable, the layout was perfect for our group, and the kitchen was very well-appointed. We ended up getting a great deal for the holiday but even aside from price I would definitely recommend this property.
