Melissa was great and met us on arrival to show us the details on the Cottage.We had a fire every night in the fireplace and listened to music on the record player. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living rooms.Great place!

We totally loved the accommodations. Spacious, well decorated, quiet, you felt like you were a 1895 setting. Would recommend to anyone looking for a special place.

This place was lovely. The location is perfect; a quick and easy train ride to Edinburgh or an hour’s drive to St. Andrews. It has a beautiful garden as well. It’s cosy bit not little; so much room.

Great little country cottage

We had a great time at this property. It was warm, clean, though a bit cluttered. Easy train travel to Edinburgh and well located for exploring Scotland.

Lovely home

This is a very lovely home outside of Edinburgh. It is a 45 min train ride to Edinburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

The house is very nicely located, quiet and calm. There's a railway passing a short way away, but it didn't cause any noise problems, and anyway, if like me, you rather enjoy trains....The house itself is absolutely delightful and comfortable. The garden is very jolly too. There's plenty of board games and books to read, should you find the weather inclement and want to just stay indoors. There's plenty of space, oh, and a lovely piano too.

If you're searching for a spacious, scenic, and quiet place with easy access to Edinburgh, stop and book this now. You get a full kichen, two bathrooms, a fireplace, views of the North Sea, and a piano if you're so inclined. My two teenaged kids each got their own rooms, too! You won't hear noisy neighbours or vehicle traffic. Last but not least, you get a host who wants to be sure you're comfortable. The place made for an ideal jumping off point and home base for our Scottish vacation. Thank you!!

Great break away

Cottage beautiful very comfy. Kids loved it. Brought tablets to watch at bedtime as theres wifi.local beaches great for walks. Overall perfect break. Ann McCarry

Lovely host

The appartement is clean and the environment is relaxed. The host is helpfull, you are near to the see but unfortenately you cant go past te trainrails. There is lot to see in the appartement it is verry cosy and feels like home

Cosy home

Great property. One of the double beds has to be replaced. To soft. Otherwise very cosy and classic. Because a television is lacking we played games all evening. Family time with teen children. Enjoyed our stay.

Family Vacation

The cottage is right out of a British storybook. The kitchen and bathroom remodels are very well done and the backyard garden is very nice. The only critique is the home is cluttered with knick knacks and decor items. There isn’t space to put your luggage, toiletries, set down your drink or sever dinner without having to move items off of surfaces. The home could benefit from a good de-cluttering. But overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this home.

Kinghorn Girl. Who studied down in Oxford and London. The sea drew me back. This was my mothers house. She passed recently and I have been renovating this house. When I'm not doing this. I have two girls and I love walking down Pettycur beach in Kinghorn

This property has a lot of great memories from when I was a child. It has a lovely big sitting room to sit in front of the fire, garden area. Its quiet so you can relax but another log on the fire and a record on the record player
