We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was attentive to all our questions and we had no issues with the place. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need. Though the ocean is a short drive the location picks up a great breeze.

La maison est très agréable : grande, lumineuse, pratique et bien équipée. Arrivée facile, hôte facilement joignable… Le cadre extérieure est idyllique, la piscine agréable ! Bref, une excellente semaine de vacances en famille!

The vacation apartment is located slightly inland, but still close to Lagos. Based on the pictures, we originally thought it was a detached house. However, this is not the case. The apartment is part of a larger complex of terraced houses. As it is located at the end of the row, there are only neighbors on one side (and below). There is a beautiful terrace and a roof terrace. Inside the apartment, it is quite dark. The beds are comfortable. However, we had major problems with mosquitoes (which we did not experience anywhere else in the Algarve in July—perhaps there was standing water somewhere in the surrounding gardens). It would be a great improvement if mosquito nets were installed on the windows.
