Nice Short Stay in Staithes

Very nice period property in the heart of Staithes. Really enjoyed our short stay at this property. Would happily book again.

Lovely house

Perfect location. Amenities great, though perhaps a tin opener would help in the kitchen. The house was clean and tidy with the exception of the rug in the lounge, which left dog hairs on our clothes. That said, we will be booking again to stay here.

VRBO listed property as having parking facilities - there were none. Very disappointed that the host didn’t leave a resident’s permit which would have cut our parking bill dramatically.

I understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive expecting parking facilities, only to find none available. The listing should have more clearly stated the parking situation, and I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I’ll be updating the property description to make sure it accurately reflects the current parking arrangements. Regarding the resident’s permit — I completely understand how that could have helped reduce your parking costs. Unfortunately, at the time of your stay, I wasn’t able to provide a permit due to local regulations, but I’m actively exploring options to make future stays more convenient in this regard. Again, I’m very sorry this impacted your experience, and I appreciate your honest feedback as it helps me improve for future guests.
