Very well located in Trastevere. The kitchen could use some additional cooking items/staples. But bottom line: we loved our stay at Trastevere at heart.
Hi Larry, thanks for your feedback about our property! We would like to clarify that hot water worked perfectly before check in, and you did not inform us about the issue with the hot water during your stay, otherwise we would have intervened immediately.
Great host and property! Comms were great and property was well maintained. Safe area and great eateries and stores nearby. Mini mart across street has all the essentials too.
The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood in Trastevere. It’s very easy to walk to local restaurants and shops. There is a farmers market every morning on the piazza around the corner. You are minutes from the Tiber River where you can cross at any number of bridges to enter the heart of Rome. We like the location because it’s not too crowded with tourists. The host is very responsive to requests. Building is super quiet. Neighborhood sounds quiet down significantly by 9:00 p.m. The elevator is nice to use after a day of walking around Rome. If you like walking go up to the Garibaldi memorial on the hill behind the apartment for great views of Rome.
The property was clean and spacious, and thankfully had air conditioning (when we stayed it was around 40°C) which made the stay much more comfortable.
Awesome location close to a bunch of restaurants and bars, but far enough you don’t hear noise. 30 min walk to Vatican, Colosseum and 40 to Trevi. Everything was clean and great.
The apartment was a true home for a wonderful 10 days in Rome. And the neighborhood was the perfect backdrop for dining, shopping and strolling. The staff was very cordial and attentive. We will definitely be back!We
Perfect sized apartment for families with 3-4 children/teenagers. In a great neighborhood with awesome restaurants and walking distance of most of Rome. Two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms was key. We were running late for check in, but the property managers were very accommodating. Great people to do business with.
We really loved the apartment. Clean. Great location. A few minor touches would have earned 5 stars. There was only one roll of toilet paper. There were no paper towels or dish clothes in the kitchen. No coffee maker (only espresso) or toaster. But overall, if you love Trastevere, you will love this apartment.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Walkable distance to bus station and other dining facilities. Attractions nearby but longer walking distance of 30-45 minutes.
This was our first trip to Italy and first time using Vrbo for a trip abroad. The communication and check in was smooth and seamless and the accommodation was exactly what we needed after the long travel day. And the location was PERFECT! I'm so glad you chose to stay in Trastevere for the first let of our trip. We'll definitely be back!
We loved staying in this apartment. It was clean and as shown in photos. Easy check-in, with a host meeting us in person and showing us around. Check-out was a breeze. The location is fantastic, with great shops, restaurants, etc. as well as transit options all plentifully available. A bit of noise in the evenings, as is typical for Trastevere.
This apartment was perfect for family of four adults and had everything we needed .. washer/dryer .. dishwasher and two separate showers. 5 th floor was quiet with a small but reliable elevator. The area of Trestavere is popular with locals and lots of great food/market options. Transport was easy and Pantheon/ Piazza Nevona was 20 min walk.
Could have just stayed in Trestavere.
We will return to that unit again.
Power went out with it almost 100 degrees out, which also made us have no hot water. Mainetance did come to fix hot water heater. Be sure to get clear directions on how to use AC, it was very hot to sleep. A bit noisy outside all night. Very clean, easy Check-in, mgr met us there. We recommend it as it was in a great walkable location to all the action!

Hi Michelle, thanks for your iìtime in reviewing our property. As explained in our welcome book, in Italy we have a standard voltage which, if exceeded, causes the electric meter to temporarily cut off the use of electricity, so you will have to restore the power (instructions are in the welcome book inside the apartment). Please, be reminded that Trastevere is one of most vibrant area of Rome, a bit of noise is quite normal during the night and the weekend.
Check in was unbelievably easy and good. Apt was beyond clean and my bed, in the larger bedroom was the best ever. Firm with just a little give and pillows were excellent too. Elevator. Cleaners constantly working around building and if you were lucky you could hear them softly singing. About a 15-20 min walk from Campo di Fiori with restaurants and shops all along the way there. Within steps of the apt, across the square was a supermarket, pharmacy even closer. Great stay. Great company that owns the apartment.

From the first moment I met you I knew that you and your sister would be two dream guests! I'm very happy you enjoyed your stay here, come back anytime! P.
This apartment in the hip and happening Trastevere neighborhood of Rome was spacious and clean. It is located close to all the hot spots in that area - restaurants, markets, shopping, even a free “tourist medical clinic”. The tiny elevator was handy for getting suitcases up and down. Inside, the apartment was comfortably yet austerely furnished with very few decorations, but since we spent little time in the apartment, it didn’t really matter. Rome city center was about a 15 minute taxi away or a 20 minute bus or tram ride. For our group of 3 adults, it was easy and spacious. If you want to be in Rome and yet have a less crowded and more relaxed place to sleep, this is a great bet.
The apartment was nice. It has air conditioning and was on the fifth floor. There was an elevator to use, which was helpful. For those that want to use public transportation, the bus and tram pickup and drop off locations were close. We actually only used the tram once and taxis the other times. The FreeNow app was good to quickly get taxi service. We didn’t try the bus. Lots of restaurants are nearby within walking distance. The apartment is close to the sights to see - we walked to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain within about 30 minutes. We took a taxi to the tour office for our recommended Vatican tour and we took the tram to see the coliseum. The apartment has a washer and dryer. They also supplied detergent.
Great property in a fantastic location in Trastevere. Easy access to tram and bus routes and an easy tram ride to Trastevere train station. The building is quiet, despite some street noise from below but the apartment is high enough up that it's generally not an issue. We were in Rome during a very hot spell and the air conditioning worked very well. We were only two people and the space was ideal for us, although I think it would certainly accommodate more. In general, it was a great space in a perfect location in Trastevere. Grocery stores, restaurants, and other amenities were close by and the tram that passes by the Ministry of Public Instruction, a block or so from the building goes right to Piazza Venezia in the historic center, not to mention the numerous bus lines that pass within a block or two.

We had problems with the host charging us twice for cleaning. And we notified VRBO and they were supposed to get back with us and they never did. This was after being told our case was being escalated.
In addition to that the Vrbo apartment smelled like raw sewage for most of the stay.

Dear Jamie, thank you for your time is reviewig our property. As previously explained multiple times upon check in and during your stay, the payment has been processed by you using our link for the correct amount, your card has not been charged remotely so that we could have changed the amount. This payment process has been designed to assure our guests more privacy and the possibility of checking exactly what they're paying in that moment. We have had no issue in this process, the payment was correctly received and the exchange rate on that day or any bank commission fees that may have been applied are out of our control. We received the correct rental amount and we have an official invoice issued to the Italian Revenue Agency that confirms the amount we received. We also sent it to you, in order for you to verify it, so it’s a pity to receive such a review for something that we have shown in a transparent way.
