The cottage is very spacious, very comfortable and homely. It is very peaceful and quiet. If we hadn’t had so much rain it would have been good to explore the country walks in the area. The whole experience was everything we wanted it to be, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone and hope to be able to return sometime.

Had a wonderful week at the Old Stable in Dursley.
Had a wonderful week at the Old Stable in Dursley. Lovely and quiet location for me and my greyhound. He can be a reactive hound so the location was perfect without passing traffic and a lovely secure garden. Accommodation was beautiful and clean. Comfy furniture, good little kitchen. Supermarket not too far down the road so when I forgot to pack some of the dogs food that was easy to rectify! Decent location and we travelled far and wide - down to Bristol, across to Avebury, up to the Severn and Westbury and of course into the Cotswolds. There are country walks from the doorstep but we did tend to go travelling each day and explore. Lovely place to come home to and relax. Highly recommend
