Amity House is tucked away along a quiet road in Winterton village, which has direct access onto the dunes. It’s just a short stroll to the village shop, pub, tea rooms, post office and fish and chip shop.
Downstairs you’ll find a cosy living room with a wood burner, comfortable sofa and large TV — perfect for relaxed evenings after a day on the beach. To the rear is a spacious, light-filled kitchen diner with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The dining area opens onto the generous, fully enclosed garden. Just off the kitchen is a practical utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a convenient shower room and WC. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor.
Upstairs, the front bedroom features a king-size bed and a large en suite bathroom with bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and basin. The rear bedroom overlooks the garden and offers two 3' single beds, making Amity House ideal for families.
Outside, the large enclosed garden provides plenty of space to relax, with outdoor seating for sunny days. There is off-road parking for one car, with additional parking available on Old Chapel Road.
Amity House welcomes three dogs free of charge, with a fourth considered by arrangement with the owners. Dogs are welcome in the downstairs living areas, but we kindly ask that they are kept off the furniture. For security purposes, CCTV covers the driveway.

Rainy stay
Amity House is a beautiful holiday home, everything you need for self catering. Winterton village is paradise for doggy walks and dog friendly venues.
Although we managed to pick the rainiest week it didn’t stop our enjoyment or chilling out.

Second Visit
Second visit to amity house and was very enjoyable with the exception of the mattress and pillows in the main bedroom. These were very uncomfortable and unsupportive and need replacing

Amity House in Winterton-on-Sea, booked via the excellent Winterton Cottages, provided a fabulous three-day escape. The property is beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped, offering a warm, homely atmosphere. Its village setting ensures peace and relaxation, with only the sounds of the sea for company. The house’s proximity to the scenic dunes and coastline made daily walks a highlight. Overall, Amity House combines comfort, serenity, and easy access to the coast, making it an ideal spot for a restful break. Lovely house, good position
A very enjoyable week spent at Amity House. Very clean and sparkly on arrival, well appointed and everything provided that one needs for a week away...even some empty cupboards for our own groceries (something we've found some other holiday rentals don't provide meaning you have to leave groceries out on the kitchen tops.)
Great position for long walks along the dunes and beautiful beach. We love Winterton as it's a quiet and unspoilt village with none of the tourist attractions of other places nearby. Let's hope it stays that way.

A wonderful and welcoming home from home in Winterton-On-sea
This is the first time we have stayed at Amity House in Winterton.
There were two of us plus one dog and it is an ideal home for a comfy stay - such a great location to access all that Winterton has to offer. Great off road parking which is great in this village.
The home is well thought out and planned. It's spotless on arrival with a lovely welcome hamper with enjoyable goodies. It is well equipped throughout, welcoming and homely. The garden is enclosed and safe for a dog; accessed easily through the french doors onto the patio.
The owners are really helpful and their communication before and after the stay was both helpful and appreciated.
Highly recommended; we loved being there and will look forward to returning for a further stay.

Great mid-week break
A fabulous stay in a very clean, well-maintained and well equipped property. Winterton is just as we remembered it, a shame that the pub has gone downhill a bit (the usual lack of staff from the looks of it). Even the weather was brilliant!

Great Holiday Accommodation
When we entered our holiday cottage I knew straight away that we had made the right choice. Everything was catered for our needs and was furnished beautifully. A bonus was being able to park the car off road. So close to the beach which was perfect for our dogs. Lovely village with shops and fish & chip shop and the beach cafe. Great days out not to far from the doorstep especially the beach at Winterton on Sea.
Amity House is a really lovely two bedroom cottage with everything you need for a short or long break. Dog friendly and secure off street parking which is a real bonus. High end fixtures and fittings and qualiity bedding and linen.
One of the best self-catering places we have stayed in.

Short break with my dog
My 2nd visit to Amity House. As before I found the accommodation to be first rate. My only comment after this visit, is that it would have been nice to have had the use of some garden chairs or loungers.

Perfect garden
Loved Amity House and so did the dogs, the garden is lovely. The House is very well furnished and comfortable. The only criticism is it’s a bit expensive for 2 and if there were 4 people, one bedroom is en-suite and the other would have to use downstairs loo. Would definitely return.

Blissful
Amity house had everything you could wish for. The furniture and fittings were very high spec. and it was very clean and comfortable. It was very handy for the local shop and chippy and had quick access to the dunes and the beach which made it perfect for our little dogs to enjoy as well as ourselves. The garden was fully enclosed and the off road parking behind secure gates was a bonus. It was a pleasure to stay in Amity House.

Close to sand dunes
First time staying at Amity. Parking is good for one car as its behinds property gates. (In the week we were there we would not have been able to park near the property). Everything we needed was provided. Our only negatives are the stairs are very steep and the bed not great.
