Great quiet stay in a lovely area

Loved staying here as it was tucked in a nice quiet residential street yet still easily accessible to shops, restaurants and public transportation. Communicating with Jonathan was easy and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Cool place... great neighborhood

Great little flat in the sought after neighborhood of Notting Hill. Close to great pubs, friendly cafes, and grocery markets. Easy access to the tube and bus stops. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property

The property is ideally located in Notting Hill! Lots of restaurants and bakeries. The pub on the corner was fantastic and the staff was really friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

The best!

My sister and I stayed at Jonathan's beautiful, cozy Notting hill home recently and it was perfect! The location is so close to the best shops and restaurants which was incredibly convenient. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again!

Cozy flat in Notting Hill

Great place, great location couldn't have asked for more. Cozy little flat within walking distance of great pubs and restaurants. All the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend if you're visiting London. Easy access to Notting Hill, Kensington and the West End.

Jonathan’s apartment was perfect for our few nights in London. It was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location. Underground stations and bus stops nearby, so many food locations, and much to do. Jonathan’s communication was wonderful. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely and queit

Flat was amazingly quiet for Notting Hill. A lovely space in a beautiful area of London. Host was very responsive. 30 minutes walk to Hyde Park and lots of closer interesting London areas to explore. Bed was comfortable and lounge was nice. No tea towels or washing tablets for the dishwasher which would have been nice. Also the bathroom needs some love but everything worked well and we really enjoyed our stay.

Jonathon was an amazing host. Very gracious, kind, accommodating, and attentive. He responded to text within an hour every time.His lovely apartment is perfect for two people. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were lovely, the shower was big and has lots of good water pressure. Its location is fantastic. Close to Westbourne Grove shopping. Close to a bus, close to the tube.Highly recommend.

Nice, quiet and safe

The flat is in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. It's close to restaurants, transportation, grocery store. We loved the amenities around the area. Perfect for a couple or single person. London trip

We had a lovely vacation. The property is well placed for access to mass transit and local restaurants The description for the space is a king sized bed, it is a queen sized bed. One towel per guest for the time we were there, I felt that was a bit miserly. The washer/dryer combo is not user friendly if you want your clothes to actually be dry. There were no check out instructions left online or inside the property. We had a wonderful trip and while I felt this Vrbo experience could have been better, it didn't ruin our vacation.

Not a good experience

It's hard to imagine how this property has so many stellar reviews. The neighborhood was great, but as far as the apartment, it's got a few deal-breaker issues for me. The maid does not do a very good job. The owner had workers outside the front window our entire stay, blocking our access to the exit, and literally standing outside the front window all day. The shower was leaking, and he had to call a repairman to fix it. The furniture and kitchenware seem tired, clearly hand-me-downs from the owner's unit on the other floors.Here's 3 things to consider before renting this place:1) The ceilings are low, and some soffits by the bathroom are less than 6 feet, as is the bathroom door. If you're tall, don't rent this place.2) If you're planning to use the Underground to get around London, the closest station is a 12 minute walk away. Think about that. If it's raining, or you have been walking all day, would you like to walk another 12 minutes to get home?3) There is no acoustic separation between the basement apartment and the 1st floor of the house. The owner and his family live on the above floors, their floors are hardwood, and you can hear them walking around or talking at all hours. Twice we were woken up at 1:30am (not kidding!) because the owner was up and active. One night we stayed out late to go to the theatre, and the next morning the owner's family was up prior to 8am, bouncing a soccer ball on their floor / our ceiling.

Keep away from this guest. He never stopped complaining. He checked in early and then took over cleaning whilst the cleaner was still on the premises. The hand towel was not fluffy enough. He left the place in an awful state, couldn't deal with the rubbish, did not even bother to wash up. He spilt milk in the fridge and just left it. This guest was so hopeless he complained the bedroom was too hot and demanded different bedding, he is so incapable he couldn't even work out how to turn a radiator down. He broke the shower which I got fixed straight away. He is malicious and unpleasant. Do NOT rent to this man. He is my only bad experience with a guest, the sort of person who is essentially useless and then wants to blame everyone else for his own inadequacy. He looks for complaints and exaggerates anything he can finds fault with, not a worthy participant in the VRBO community. I wish I could post the photos of how he left the apartment. He was a dirty disrespectful guest . Its no surprise everyone else gives me excellent reviews - I wonder who the problem is ?

Zauberhaft - wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Alles war prima! Die Unterkunft liegt in einer fantastischen Gegend! Die Wohnung selbst war sehr gemütlich und genau wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir Jonathan. Er war ein unglaublich netter Gastgeber, der uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand.
