About this property

Lakefront Rental on Lake Chatuge Deep-Water

Lakeside Elegance is one of our premier properties located in the exclusive Cedar Cliff area of Hiawassee, Georgia. It can be found on the private peninsula at the end of Cedar Cliff Road. Having its own private covered dock, spectacular views of both the Georgia and North Carolina mountains, it is about 2000 feet above sea level.

It has four bedrooms, all with queen sized beds; antique furnishings, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, wrap around decks, and a fully equipped kitchen.
We require a full weeks rental over the 4th of July Holiday.

Linens are provided and our full time staff is available for your needs. A gas fired grill is available for your outdoor cooking pleasure. This home will provide you with the memories of a lifetime.

We recently stayed here over Labor Day Weekend with another family. There was plenty of room for everyone. We did encounter several issues with the home, one being the air conditioning was not working and there was no hot water when we arrived. Needless to say, we were a bit disappointed with this situation, but Lucille, the property manager is an excellent communicator and did a good job of getting workers out to look at these issues ASAP. We did receive a one night refund because of these inconveniences, which I appreciate from the owner and management company showing that they really care about guest satisfaction. The deck is expansive and has a lovely view of the lake. The double decker dock is big and we were able to dock our boat which we rented from Boundary Waters overnight. The outdoor furnishings on the deck and dock could definitely use some updating as they are showing signs of wear and tear. Overall, I would recommend this property despite having the above mentioned issues.

The house is in a wonderful location overlooking Lake Chatuge. Great view to the west for sunsets. Convenient to town and nearby attractions.The house is very spacious with plenty of room for a large family gathering. Upper level deck stretches across the entire lake side. Bring a boat or rent from one of the local marina's to enjoy the big lake.

Wonderful House

House was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. Perfect location with views of the lake and beautiful sunsets visible from entire front of the house. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lake house vacation.

Just wrapping up 5 day vacation. We had a mixed experience with this property. Pros: excellent communication with property manager. Lucille was lovely. The outdoor deck and dock area was stunning. Loved the views and the wooded area surrounding the property. Very clean. The place was bigger than expected. Cons: the air conditioner was broken from the time we arrived to the property to the day we left. Temps got up to 84 in the house. We were told it would be fixed the next day, then extended throughout the week (was not aware it was going to take multiple days until asked) . The owners graciously let us stay in a property next door , which was amazing, but not the same caliber of rental. We were still allowed to use the original property’s amenities. No additional concessions were provided. That part was a real bummer. No M

Beautiful water views. Immaculately kept! Suggest future guests to bring shampoo and conditioner and ground coffee :). Not a criticism at all :). Just a head up to jane for your morning if needed for future guests :). We would love to return and out the home next time we are in the area. It was lovely.

House was clean and huge!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was so clean and big. The lake view was gorgeous. The only thing that was difficult was the amount of boat traffic creating a lot of waves while sitting on the dock. But it was the 4th of July week the busiest week on the lake. But we still enjoyed it very much and had a blast! Louise was great too - always right there helping our every need!

Great location, beautiful home

We met some of our family at Lake Chatuge for Labor Day weekend. The house was exceptionally clean (you literally couldn't find dust) and has lots of space. Communication was thorough and easy. We will likely book this same house again. Highly recommend.

From the beginning of our booking to the end was a 5 plus star rating. Communication was great, the house was super clean (which is HUGE to us!), the property was in a perfect location. We had 10 people and did not feel cramped at all. There is tons of room and the porches are large enough for the entire group. The grounds are very well maintained and the walk to the dock is down hill but the steps make it very easy. We would definitely recommend booking this home.

Amazing and updated lakefront property!

Great stay! The house has recently been updated (so recent the listing Pictures had not been updated) and was so much bigger than we expected! Amazing patio and view of lake/sunset. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. Great property managers - very responsive. The boat dock was really nice for our boat rental but it is a floating dock and is very wobbly due to boat traffic on main part of lake. Great location also / very private but close to town of Hiawasee! Would definitely recommend! Lake Chatuge is great!!

The kids loved the pool table and dock. The grandparents loved the large upstairs bedroom. All of the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful views of the sunset and Ramey Mountain.

Great trip

The house was wonderful and so much bigger than we expected. Plenty of room to spread out. The outside decks were great and the dock was amazing. Views unbelievable. The property manager Lucille was incredible. She was so kind and helpful. I would advise anyone to use her. She is great.

Can't beat the lake views!!!

We enjoyed a great long weekend stay with our family. While the interior of the home can feel a bit dated we loved it as it felt like we were visiting grandma's lake house. The views from the HUGE deck were awesome and nothing beat sitting out on the top deck of the dock watching the sunset.

Great family trip! Beautiful location and scenery!

Great memories were made, board games were played (we brought our own) ,stories told, love and laughter abounded!!! Never could figure out how to play carroom. Directions would be helpful. Amazing weather!!!
