Ultimate Oceanfront Updated Home - Beautiful & Spacious with a Private Pool

Welcome to 6 Brown Pelican! This beautiful seven bedroom, six bathroom oceanfront Sea Pines home has all that you want in a vacation rental home and can sleep 18 guests total.

The private pool deck has plenty of seating for relaxing. The private pool and spa can be heated seasonally - please see more details in the description below. There is an additional fee to heat the pool and/or spa - please reach out to our office in advance if you are interested. . There is also amazing outdoor living space to enjoy.

The home is outfitted with wireless internet and a gas grill. This is a dog friendly home for an additional fee of $250 plus tax - please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your dog.

1st Floor:

Just beyond the grand staircase, is the first living area with a flat screen TV + access to the pool deck. For your convenience, there is a large wet bar with a refrigerator and dishwasher. The first of two washer/dryers are located downstairs.

The first bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds & a full window daybed + a flat screen TV. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The first master suite has a king bed, flat screen TV + access to the pool deck. The private bath has a walk-in shower. Bedroom three has two twin beds and bedroom four has a king bed. They share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs.

2nd Floor:

The living room has a flat screen TV. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops & much more. There is a second laundry room + a third full sized refrigerator in the room off the kitchen.

There is direct access off the living & dining area to the expansive, L shaped second floor wraparound porch. The outdoor seating area offers even more options to relax with the view of the beach.

The second master suite has a king bed, flat screen TV, and balcony access with ocean views. The private bathroom has been fully renovated and has a double vanity + walk-in shower.

Bedroom six and seven both have a king bed, flat screen TV + each has a private bathroom just outside the bedroom door. One has a walk-in shower and the other is a shower/tub combo.

• Distance to Beach: Oceanfront home. Pavers are located off the pool area that lead directly to the beach access path.

• Pool/Spa Info: 33 feet long with an average width of 14 feet (freeform pool). The pool and spa can be heated seasonally for an additional fee. The spa can be heated year-round for a fee. The pool can only be heated for stays falling between Labor Day through Memorial Day for a fee. No pool heat is available during the summer months. Please email or call us at least two weeks prior to your arrival if you would like to add pool/and or spa heat + pay fee.

• Paying guest reservations staying between 4-27 nights will receive a $250 VayK Life beach/bike gear credit. This will be emailed to you after making a reservation and is valid for VayK Life rentals only.

• Parking: There is parking available at the home for up to six cars max - not all can be SUVs due to the driveway size.

• No weddings or other events of any kind permitted at the home.

Great family trip to Hilton Head

Enjoyed a great stay at 6 Brown Pelican with the family. We had 10 people (adults) plus our lab, Rose. House is in great shape, very clean and well equipped. The house managers were responsive and easy to deal with. A great experience and we would rent the house again.

We hope to rent this great spot again....perfect for a staycation!

We were so impressed that somebody came and stayed until 11:30 that night to fix it! My only complaint about the house is that some of the mattresses really need to be replaced and some of the beds were EXTREMELY squeaky.

Beautiful house

We had 4 families and all enjoyed this house. The deck and view are fantastic. A family of deer visited daily. The dolphins are plentiful in this area too. The house was very clean and all wood/vinyl flooring was beautiful and easy to keep clean. The AC went out (1of3units) and they were very responsive. Someone was out the next day to replace a part and get it working again. It couldn’t be helped and they handed it well. The hot tub is not functional which was disappointing to find but the pool is really pretty and a great size. Also we let them know that one of the 2 driers doesn’t work. Didn’t discover this until wet clothes sat in it. Good thing they have 2 sets! 3 refrigerators was great to have also. I would definitely recommend this house.

I wish the pictures did a better job of showing how easy it is to access the beach, and the views from the main floor and deck are unbelievable. The home itself was perfect for our family and its proximity to South Beach Marina and the shops/restaurants was ideal. I highly recommend renting bikes. The rental company's service was remarkable, there responsiveness and attention to minor details made all the difference. We had a problem with the gas grill the first night and they replaced the entire unit by lunch the next day. We needed a break from 2020 and this home was perfect. Plenty of room and recently renovated, this is a great spot for multiple families and lots of kids.

Overall the house was very clean and well organized. Kitchen area labelled so you know where everything belongs. We have stayed in a lot of rentals all over the world and this is the first time we ever experienced amazing cook ware. Pots and frying pans are All-Clad. Top notch. Enough plates, cups, glasses (both glass and plastic), flatware and cooking utensils for the number of people the house can accommodate. We had 16 (13 adults and 3 children). Good layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. Two bedrooms (one King and one Twin) share a bathroom that is quite small. The twin bedroom is also small with not much storage or walk around space. More suited for two children or one adult rather than two adults. Great eating areas (inside and outside) with lots of space. We did experience a couple of issues (broken toaster and coffee maker) that were dealt with the following day. Also, there was a malfunction with the pool heater that they quickly addressed. Would definitely recommend this property to a large group. Overall, great stay. And, we loved the daily visits from the local deers.

Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay at 6 Brown Pelican for the Christmas holiday was wonderful. Our extended family of 23 had not been together as a group in 7 years...we came from Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, Florida and South Carolina to celebrate Christmas 2020. We arrived a couple days before the holiday to settle in. Loved that the house was close to Harbor Town, shopping and dining....the split living areas was great for those that needed a bit of separation, large dining areas for our big group was perfect for our holiday dinners. We heated the pool and spa and it was money well spent. The pathway to the beach just outside the back door was great for both the kids and the grand parents. Beautiful views and sunsets daily. We had small children that went to bed early and because of the design of the house the noise from TV's and those playing cards and games traveled to the bedrooms and presented issues with the little ones trying to sleep. We are a family of chefs, lots of preparation and cooking, we found ourselves washing the dishes by hand after they had run through a 2 hour dishwasher cycle. Spending so much time hand washing dishes took away time from the fun of being together. I'd say that was the biggest issue and feel the appliances (dishwashers and washer/dryers) really need to be replaced. For the cost of the rental one would expect more updated appliances.

We did not have any minors in our group, but the house would have easily accommodated them. We expected luxury in our rental, and all were satisfied. Property management was communicative in advance of our stay and responsive during it when we called with a few concerns. Multiple kitchen, laundry and lounge areas gave us fantastic spaces, either to gather or to spread out. The well-equipped kitchen was conducive to dining in multiple nights, and the location was great both for Sea Pines and other HHI restaurants, etc. Perfect location for days mixed with beach, pool, and indoor time, depending on individual interests.

A wonderful three-week respite

The only stumbling block was a pesky pool/hot tub heater that worked when it was “in the mood”. The maintenance team responded promptly and worked through the diagnostics over several visits finally achieving victory. It was a minor convenience that did little to interfere with the family fun.
