Cosy Shepherds Hut in the Scottish Highlands with hot tub (pet friendly)
Enjoy a peaceful break in our cosy Shepherds Hut, complete with relaxing hot tub, set in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands. This is an ideal place to stay with beautiful walks from the door was well as beaches, castles, mountains and lochs nearby.
Just off the North Coast 500 route, we are located mid-way between Dornoch and Inverness. With a luxury Wellis Sun power jet hot tub, beautiful outdoor decking and dining, you will find this the ideal place to relax, unwind and tour this beautiful area of wilderness in the Scottish Highlands.
The Hut is a fully self-contained property adjacent to our small bed and breakfast Cuillich Mill B&B. It contains a luxury double bed (sleeps 2 guests), kitchenette with a halogen 2 ring hob, dining table, fridge-freezer, toilet, washroom and large walk-in shower. It is fully equipped with crockery and cutlery, microwave, kettle and toaster. Upon your arrival, there will be tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk, eggs, butter and a small loaf of bread.
Stunning mountain views can be enjoyed from the property as well as from the hot tub or just relaxing outside on the decking. You will have complete privacy and the location is very secluded amongst trees with a small burn running beside it.
Although we love to see your pets, due to the limited size of the hut we have a limit of one medium or large dog, or up to two small dogs. Your comfort and enjoyment is our priority and we believe bringing more than one larger dog will be too restrictive in the amount of indoor space available.
You will also have access to free parking and if you have any bikes, there is secure bike storage on site. You will also be able to enjoy sitting in the garden, lying in a hammock under trees and free to roam the surrounding green areas.
As a bed and breakfast, we are happy to provide you with a cooked breakfast to your door (at an extra charge) at a time of your choosing. If you are also celebrating a special occasion, you can request a celebration package at an extra cost. Please email for details.

About the host
Hosted by Leila Bentley
My name is Leila and I live at Cuillich Mill with my husband David and our two dogs, Archie and Florence. We moved to the Scottish Highlands from England where I worked as a Science teacher for 20 years. I've always dreamt of running and bed and breakfast as well as a self catering accommodation and we built this cute and cosy Shepherds Hut to share our love and joy of the surrounding area.
Why they chose this property
We've holidayed in the Highlands on several occasions and always had it in our minds to retire and move up here. I wanted to start up in hospitality and David is now a tour guide for the cruise ships that visit the Highlands so we have a thorough knowledge of the local area.
What makes this property unique
We absolutely love our Shepherds Hut. It has everything you need for a mini holiday. Reviews from guests have been very positive and all mention that it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy this area of the Highlands.
