Access to the best white sand beach in the Keweenaw!

Stay in our clean and cozy camp with 2 bedrooms, modern bathroom and kitchen, sunporch and sauna. The perfect place to rest, relax or play in the water!

This is the place to get away and unwind. There is no cable/satellite TV or internet available.. but isn't that the point of going to the lake?

Peace and quiet are found here!

Authentic wood fired barrel sauna, firewood supplied. Experience a true sauna experience by taking steam and cooling off in the world largest fresh water lake!

The camp also features a wood stove in the living room to chase the chill in the shoulder seasons or roast marshmallows on a rainy day!

There is plenty of seating and camp chairs to allow for relaxation on the deck or in the sun porch.

Outdoor fire pit and supplied firewood for evening relaxation and smores around the campfire.

This white sand beach is located on the leeward side of the peninsula making it warmer and more sheltered from the wind. Sunsets are beautiful pastel in color as the light from the West reflects on the clouds over Keweenaw Bay.

Also visible are the Huron Mountians (to the South East) and passing freighters on the way to Marquette or destinations further East.

You will not forget your stay at this peaceful lakeshore location.

Anniversary Trip

Sisters vacation

One of the most relaxing vacations! Loved the sauna and being totally unplugged. Beds were clean and comfortable with the wonderful sound of the waves on the shore to lull me to sleep. We would stay here again!

This is literally a gemstone! Family of 4 two teenagers and a dog. It was an amazing location. Completely recommended if you're looking to decompress from busy life.

Perfect getaway

Perfect place to relax, unwind and unplug! Directly on the lake, where you can listen to the sounds of the lake. We loved spending time walking the beach and hunting for stones and sea glass.

Best vacation

I stayed for 3 wonderful weeks! All my siblings came at different times of the month in July and loved it there also. Took a few days to get used to no cell or Wi-Fi, but now I may turn my phone off at least once a week for the quiet 😁. Went to sleep to the sound of the waves. Beautiful sunrises and awesome thunderstorms. I hope we can stay again soon.

Rustic camp with million dollar views

We had such a fun time with our two weeks at the camp. It was rustic, but had everything we needed to cook and have fun on the property. The beach was breathtaking, and the sauna was wonderful after a day out enjoying the UP. There were even blocks and toys for our 11 month old to play with. The neighbors were all super friendly and more than willing to point us in the direction of something to explore. Would highly recommend, 5/5 for sure!

Keweenaw adventure

Location on white sand beach was superb. Best time I’ve ever had in the Keweenaw. Campfires on beach every night. Plenty of wood and tinder. Lighting in house isn’t good for reading. Lights over sink and table were hard to turn on. Appliances could have been cleaned better. Overall house condition average at best

Xanadu!

This was our 3rd year in a row and 4 stays at this great “camp”. Remote, relaxing, re-energizing. We love this place! Even though cell service is sketchy, our host, Jacob has always been responsive to our questions and needs, thank you!

Beautiful sandy beach!

We had a great time, we had great communication with our host. No complicated check in or check out instructions. Everything was simple and straight forward, nothing fancy but it was nice. We had awesome weather and did not spend alot of time indoors. The bonfires on the beach, sitting under the stars and the sunrises, are all breathtaking. This location was centrally located, we could reach our hiking trails, waterfalls and sightseeing stops within an hour. We loved the location and the up north feel. A word of caution: We did not have cell service in the area, we needed to drive to the bar in Gay to get WiFi, so we could find the nearest hospital to treat a serious reaction to a bee sting. The local people in the bar helped us with directions and were so kind and helpful. I would suggest a good map prior to arriving in the area, in case you have issues with connectivity. I know the lack of service was mentioned, I was just not prepared. All in all we enjoyed the area and are already planning our trip for next year. Thank you!

Even with the biting flies, this place is still a Paradise. It was our third visit and we introduced it to our guests from Pennsylvania who also enjoyed their stay.
