Serenity, Surf, and Solana Beach

Seaside complex with spectacular ocean views from atop the Seascape Cliffs deck and walkway. Important to note - we have stairs, both in the condo, and the normal access to the underground garage. A slightly longer no-stairs route from the garage allows for moving luggage, etc. to the condo. Our unit is half-way between the street and bluff-front access to the beach and community deck.

Short walk to Del Mar Fairground/Racetrack. Private shared owners' deck for all residents, featuring spectacular sunsets. One of few private access points to an uncrowded expanse of surfer-heaven beach. Public beach access is far enough away to keep this area pretty quiet. This is the peaceful getaway of your dreams.

We accept a 2-week minimum stay, allowing a low-turnover community - and our great neighbors. All here are accustomed to welcoming visitors from all walks of life, and from all over the world. It is always a joy to enjoy a sunset with neighbors on our owners' shared private deck overlooking Pacific Ocean sunsets. The deck is accessible only to residents within the Seascape complex. It is half-way down the bluffs to the deck, with more stairs and a gate leading to the beach.

We are fully-equipped for your stay. Complete, newly-remodeled kitchen is ready for whatever level of cooking you like. Dining area expands to handle 8. Wifi throughout. Cable TV in Living Area and Master Bedroom. Internet-connected smart tv in the second bedroom allows gaming and web access.

With secure parking and a small community, you are minutes away from Del Mar Racetrack and a walk to quaint establishments of Solana Beach village. You are a short drive from Encinitas, Torrey Pines, La Jolla, and the city of San Diego. If you also need a vacation from driving (and parking fees!) you are also a brief walk from Solana Beach Amtrak Station, with easy access to San Diego and Los Angeles.

Our secure, gated garage will keep you car safe, protected from the sun, and coo-ol. Mostly stairway access to everything, but we have one non-stair route from the garage to the unit.

A community pool and spa are always available.

Cozy condo steps to the beach.

We loved spending the month of July in this beautifully decorated remodeled condo in Solana Beach. The location was hard to beat, with private access to the beach, pool and spa and underground parking garage. The owners were amazingly friendly and very responsive. We had a great family vacation.

A wonderful home, location, and hostess.

What a special place here on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Solana Beach. Gina’s home was a wonderful retreat for my family for 4 weeks in July. It comes well furnished and equipped for extended stays. Little touches by the kind hostess Gina are evident throughout the home and made our visit all the more special. This little idyllic gem by the sea is where you can hone the fine art of doing nothing with all the purpose in the world. We spent the month of February here basking in the sunshine and warmth far from the land of ice and snow. Gina and Robert give true meaning to the term "Superhosts". Their kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. The condo is beautiful, well appointed, and immaculate. Everything you need and more. A lot of kitchen utensils, dishes, etc., beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, scissors, stapler, tons of great books, and games. Just to name a few. Truly everything you will need. We celebrated every fantastic sunset like it was our last in the beautiful flower gardens overlooking the beach. It was tranquil & relaxing, yet close to many fun and interesting things to do. Highly recommended locations at the condo for morning coffee and sunset viewings: 1. The seats from the bedroom balcony. Especially right after the sunset. 2. Walk out the condo toward the ocean and bear left to find the small table and chairs overlooking the bluff. 3. The platform on the north shore, definitely worth it. 4. The benches in front by the sidewalk. Gina recommended so many great spots and I think we visited every one and found a few of our own. The condo is walking distance to quite a few local restaurants. Short drive to San Diego, day trips to Venice Beach, Santa Monica, LA, Laguna beach. Stay here!!! You'll love it! That's a promise.

Perfection

Our family had a perfect stay at Gina and Robert’s condo. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so inviting. The condo has everything to feel right at home. The kitchen is a dream to cook in while still being able to feel engaged with your family, thanks to the open floor plan. Everything is comfortable and I love the relaxing color scheme and decor. The condo is in the perfect location. There is a beautiful view of the ocean just a few steps from the front door and there is easy access to the beach. It is walkable to a number of tasty restaurants and it is easy to get on the highway and drive if desired. Also, you couldn’t ask for more in a host as Gina is such a lovely person. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. .

Great Beach Experience!

We felt right at home in this property. It was perfect for our family of four and just what we wanted for our beach vacation! The property was quiet, the neighbors were friendly, and the sunsets were phenomenal! So nice to have private access to the beach with a sunset viewing deck! Pool and Jacuzzi provided a great experience as well. The San Diego area is, of course, a fantastic place to visit! When the toughest decision is deciding whether to go to the beach or pool, or both, life is good!! :-)

Perfectly located right on the coast and I hear of cute beach town

This is really such an ideal rental home for a couple or a family or a few couples. Very private with great security and the home itself is very upscale and well decorated with every amenity and kitchen appliance you could need. It also has an echo upstairs and down for enjoying entertainment at the snap of your fingers. Also has reliable fast WiFi and streaming. Then you just can’t beat the location for being on the beach yet central to all the great beach towns and restaurants and bars and shopping of north county. Also you can walk for miles north or south along the beach for exercise. We really enjoyed every minute of it. Last note: it is in a very quiet condo community where the units are close to each other. Important that you don’t plan to be loud during your stay.

This lovely 2 story townhouse is in a beautiful setting with Beach Access.

We stayed in this lovely Solana Beach property through the holidays and truly enjoyed this beautifully redecorated home with charming appointments including the ample kitchen island for cooking and the 2 and 1/2 baths. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the space delightful and functional. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and our trips to the beach, via a private access and the spectacular sunsets looking out toward San Clemente Island were memorable. This is a fabulous destination for a family getaway or a romantic rendezvous. Thank you to our hosts!

We are San Diego residents since 2000. Our teens were born in south county, where we now live. I am a retired Marine of 32 years, and currently fly as a pilot for a major US airline. Moving to Southern California brought me back to my West Coast roots (Washington State originally). My bride of 31 years, Gina, is a native of Colombia. We also spend time in her hometown, Bogota - the country's capitol - where we have raised our two kids for about half their lives. We are a bicultural family, love to travel, and we look forward to meeting you.

Why they chose this property

We love the beach, and so we dreamed of buying a place near the ocean. After looking far and wide during our 19 years here in San Diego, we found Solana Beach to be a real gem. It is located in a rare quiet area, above the ocean, with little traffic, and easy access to everything we like to do. We also found the neighbors in the Seascape complex to be friendly, and helpful. Everyone likes to gather on the deck to watch the spectacular sunsets. As much as we want to enjoy the new place, we also have a few years left to raise our teens where we now are. So, we want to share our place, meet new people.

What makes this property unique

This place is incredible, simply for the daily connections we make with our neighbors. Being next to the ocean, we have the constant gentle breezes, quick access to a sandy foot stroll, or a dip in the surf. Sitting atop the line of cliffs, the views are spectacular. Since we are a few blocks away from a known public beach access, our street tends to have gentle traffic, and the beach to our front is always sparsely populated. Even on holidays, we see very few visiting our section of the beach. We are ground-to-roof owners, affording high ceilings in the bedrooms. Plenty of windows allow the interior to be full of light.
