Thank you Karen. May you return to celebrate many more birthdays:)
This property is beautiful and ideal for a multigenerational vacation. We were here with grandkids ages 2-8 and their parents. The house is super spacious, well equipped and exceptionally well maintained. The kids loved the huge pool and hot tub as well as a large lawn to play ball. Not to mention a fire pit for s’mores. The owner is super accommodating and he and the housekeeper were on call for any issues. Highly recommend it.
We just wrapped up a week-long stay, and we had a great time at this beautiful property. Our group was a three-generation family reunion, with 10 people total. The house was wonderful, with great living spaces for family hangouts, cooking, and eating. We had many extra bedrooms too (I think 5 extra). The outside was great as well. The kids loved the lawn and the pool, which was heated and very comfortable. We also enjoyed walks through the woods and gatherings around the fire pit at night. The house is protected from the street, so it is quiet and private. Finally, our host Ken was extremely responsive and communicative. Instructions for the house were clear, and when we did have questions, he or the property manager was responsive. We would definitely stay in the house for a family vacation again. Thank you again, Ken.
Exceeds expectations...and Expectations were High!!! The home is just as spacious and thoughtfully furnished as the pictures indicate. What the pictures did not show was that there is an internal access from "media room" to cabana, meaning that the room can be used as yet another suite. The fold-out couches are not suitable for adults but a mattress could be brought in, or you could accommodate middle schoolers on the couches. Also not obvious from the photos: the outdoor kitchen, downstairs kitchen, beautiful setting of the hot tub and lovely fire pit. The "zen room" is more of a second primary bedroom. The bed in the other primary is a king, not a queen (the only king in the house). The "sitting room" is a ginormous closet that can accommodate 2 queen beds. More than you could ever dream of...
More than a dozen members of our family, representing three generations, stayed at the main house on this property over the course of a summer weekend to celebrate a milestone event. Our experience and time together was enhanced by the house’s ample indoor space; the long rectangular table in the eat-in kitchen, which was big enough to accommodate all of us comfortably; the sun-drenched, modern architecture; and the long backyard pool, among other features. Prior to our arrival, the owners sent along a PDF with an extensive operating manual, complete with links to a few helpful, instructional videos. We also appreciated the fast replies from the owners and property manager to any follow-up questions we had while on site. In addition to the six formal bedrooms on the lower level, there are several additional rooms that can be converted to temporary bedrooms, with those requests ideally discussed prior to arrival. This beautiful property should be of appeal to guests of any age, but those with accessibility issues should note that the primary suite, which is the only formal bedroom-and-bath on the main floor, has two stairs leading in and out of it, as does the kitchen.
