Excellent family getaway
Our families from Indiana and Illinois came to Winona to see our nephew play football for Winona State. The seven of us loved our stay here. Other family members were able to gather with us after the game for a meal including s'mores around the firepit. There was plenty of room to play games and for fellowship. This is one of the best vrbos I've ever stayed in!

About the host

This is the place we call home and for this, we are forever thankful. This sums up our life and adventures at the end of the dead end. We purchased our initial portion of this property from our grandparents and built a home and life 15 years ago. When the time came for Granny to sell her home, we knew it was best to put the farm back together as it once was. We enjoy raising our five children where the green grass grows and pride ourselves on being good stewards of the land. We know that it gives back to us so much more than we take from it and we are all better for it. Outside of farming and sharing our slice of heaven, we work full-time as a professor and in research and development at a local plastic manufacturer.

Why they chose this property

This property is near and dear to our family and has been in the family for 3 generations. Our parents were born and raised just next door and our grandparents farmed this ridge for nearly all of their lives. We pride ourselves on carrying on the traditions and instilling in our family the value of hard work and the responsibility of caring for this land that has done the same for us.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy farm fresh eggs, watch the cattle graze, and take in everything the country has to offer here at Irish Ridge Farm. Some of the sights and sounds you might hear include roosters crowing in the morning, coyotes howling in the evening, and cows mooing the moments in between.
