A magical Hobbit-like retreat full of history and really cosy!
Very easy to find and access with stunning walks from the doorstep. Extremely quiet and private with the parking space next to the property ideal! Communication with the host was brilliant, very proactive. Overall a wonderful tiny bolt hole to spend a week!

Brilliant location
Great for early morning or late evening walks on the Headland with the dog. Could even watch the sunset in the sea from the Cottage.
Many interesting features and limited space certainly maximised to good effect.
Particularly appreciated the socket on the 2 tvs which allowed us to watch the Club World Cup games.
Would have liked some way of blacking out the main skylight at night

Fantastic Fishermans Cottage
We thought it was a unique, quirky cottage, with plenty of tasteful items to make it really special. It was comfortable and cosy, with everything we needed. The location was ideal for us to walk to Tintagel Castle, Bossiney Cove and local amenities. Nothing negative, it was perfect 👌

Quirky cottage but additional touches made it easy to enjoy
garden chairs for the decking when it was sunny. Tea coffee and milk. I'm 6ft 1 so the doorway posed a challenge oncetwice but added to the charm. Lovely and surprisingly easy to heat especially when it was a miserable grey rainy day
Sore head from low doorway

Liked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
Fisherman's Cottage was a fine example of a historic building and the various internal areas were well designed considering the size of the property. Due to its age cobwebs were an expected condition. The various floor levels made walking difficult for my wife, particularly into the bathroom. She fell in the 'kitchen' area the first night and we ended up doing the rounds of the local hospitals the next day. The front garden was quite good but needed weeding, the back garden needed a great deal of attention.

Small but characterful cottage.
The character was amazing and the ev charging point was really useful.
No cupboard space for any food purchased and very little for clothes. All the cupboards and drawers were full of equipment, including the wardrobe so that I could not properly hang my dress.

Excellent location but shame about outside space. Allows pets but wouldn't say it's & pet friendly!
Brilliant location out of town but within easy walking distance, and on the doorstep of the coastal path, 2x quiet beaches and Bossiney Tea Rooms (excellent!). Cosy and comfy interior well kitted out kitchen and everything in working order.
Outside space wasn't really pet friendly, and it was a shame that you either sit outside the front directly next to the road, out the back looking over the car park. A shame not to be able to relax outside at the property, and because it was dark inside we didn't want to be in there in daylight hours either!
