Our 2nd time of staying at Byre Cottage.

Our 2nd time of staying at Byre Cottage.A perfect home from home for a couple.Basics are provided....coffee, tea, milk, bread, washing tablets, dishwasher tablets etc.The kitchen is spacious, the living room & bedroom furniture and soft furnishings are of an excellent quality.Outside there is a lovely patio which gets the sun almost all day. Double gates secure the property from the road and give plenty of safe off road parking.

Lots of little things like coffee pods and dishwasher tablets made you feel at home.

Lots of little things like coffee pods and dishwasher tablets made you feel at home. Lovely welcome pack. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great walks from the house but very wet underfoot. Would love to go back.

Lovely light and airy cottage in nice quiet location.

Lovely light and airy cottage in nice quiet location. A change of towels mid-week would have been useful as laundering them was problematic as the only way to dry clothes was on an airer. Well stocked in terms of cutlery and table ware, but a couple of smooth bladed food prep knives would have been appreciated. The lack of a non-slip mat in the bath was a small concern as a fall could have been a problem. The 'welcome pack' of local produce was very nice and much appreciated - we needed a brew after a long drive down from northwest England.
