Perfect Christmas
Arriving to find the cottage beautifully decorated for Christmas was wonderful ...... and the heating was already on! Everything we needed was there including mince pies, muffins and more ...... Petworth deer park entrance was just across the road - so some lovely walks with our dog made our stay complete ... oh and the (dog-friendly) pub about 3 minutes walk too! Great for a cosy winter break!

Great location
Overall good, however bed linen duvet and pillows of poor quality, need replacing. Sheets smelled leading to question, had they been changed? No hand towels, only bath towels which also smelled .

A wonderful birthday surprise
We surprised my Daughter and her partner with a 2 day stay at the cottage. They absolutely loved it! Beautiful walks with the dog and the cottage itself was charming. Your always a bit dubious when booking on line and not being able to actually view it but I shouldn’t have worried. They had a perfect few days away. Thank you 😊

Cosy historical cottage
We had a wonderful couple of days at the cottage. Perfect for exploring Petworth and the Deer Park directly opposite is stunning. Arwenne couldn't be more helpful and the cottage has everything needed for a cosy stay. Love all the old beams and original features. Parking proved a bit tricky but we managed.

Real period property
Hi this property was fine for a short stay and we liked spending time in Petworth. Although on the main road it's well double glazed so this was not a problem. It is very handy for Petworth Park and House. So the dog enjoyed walks in the deer park. Which is possible off the lead provided you can keep your dog controlled and put him on a lead when near the deer. The shower is lovely and powerful. You are very handy for the shops if you want to eat out and there is plenty of choice. Kitchen a bit short on pans etc for cooking at the cottage.
