The bedrooms consist for a king-size with en-suite bathroom, a lower-ground-floor double, a lower-ground-floor single, a single and a lower-ground-floor room with two singles, serviced by a bathroom and ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden, courtyard and balcony, all with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars and additional roadside parking is available. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.4 miles, a pub and within 1.3 miles, a beach and please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Firm Anchor is a wonderful base for your next getaway in Devon. Please note, From December 2025, the lower ground floor family room will become a twin bedroom, The bunk will be removed.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
