Beautiful Cotswolds cottage

A very warm welcome to our beautiful cottage, the original Butchers from the 1800s in the village of Leafield. Boasting 4 bedrooms, plenty of space for socialising plus flexible accommodation, this cottage makes the perfect holiday home for a group or special family gathering. There are two separate outdoor spaces, including a large patio that wraps around the house with views across the Cotswolds countryside. On the iron gate next to the driveway, you will spot the sign for the 'Butchers Cottage Secret Garden' - this takes you through to a large, secluded lawned garden, with it's own vegetable patch and beautiful Eucalyptus tree.

Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling. There is a log burner in the living room for cosy evenings on the sofa and numerous comfy corners to read a book.

As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, induction hob, an oven, a kettle and a microwave. The large farmhouse dining table sits 8 people and there is additional space to sit at the island unit in the kitchen. The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers two smart TVs and fast internet access.

There are four bedrooms in this cottage, three of which contain king size beds and one room has a double bed. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the additional family bathroom takes it up to three bathrooms in total.

Linen, towels and bathroom essentials are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There are free parking on premises for up to three cars.
- Pets are allowed to stay at the property. A small dog bowl and dog towels are provided. The contained lawn garden and the separate, contained patio to the side of the house make the perfect space for pets.

The area:
Located in the small quaint village of Leafield, on the doorstep of Cornbury Park estate in the heart of the Oxfordshire side of the Cotswolds. Leafield has its own quintessential pub - 'The Fox' - which is just a 3 minute walk from the cottage.

The train from London Paddington to Charlbury takes just a little over one hour and then a 10 minute drive to the cottage.

The cottage provides the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds countryside and historic towns, including Charlbury, Chipping Norton, Burford, Stow-on-the-wold and many more.

From the cottage you will enjoy the stunning landscapes and countryside views, along with the endless woodland walks and excellent gastro pubs.
