About this property
Glasfryn - sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms
The quiet village of Great Wolford, where Glasfryn nestles, is a wonderful example of Cotswold living. Amongst the golden cottages, this home sits in an elevated position with views across the surrounding treetops.
Year-round, Glasfryn is a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. Once a well-loved family home you now benefit from the cosy woodburner in the cooler months, and the beautifully planted garden in the summer. The living room and snug become host to board games and evening drinks while the separate dining room provides the perfect opportunity to eat together and put phones away to enjoy conversation. The AGA in the kitchen is perfect for cooking up a feast and the bedrooms are light and spacious, two of which have an en-suite. Outside, fire up the BBQ and set the table for al fresco feasts, or enjoy the peace and quiet here in the mornings before filling your days with memorable activities.
Surrounded by countryside with a plethora of charming villages to explore, Glasfryn is an unrivalled base for exploring this area. Bring your walking boots and take the family dog for a country stroll across the fields, head to nearby Batsford Arboretum, Sezincote House or one of the many towns and villages.Ground Floor
