Ian keeps you informed and makes it very easy to stay at his place. It's great to be connected in an unfamiliar place. Place was very comfortable for my family.
Great location and ideal for what we wanted. 15 min walk to the train station. 1 hour train to London. 20 min walk into Oxford. 5 min walk to supermarkets. Had a great time showing kids round and would come again.
It was very well situated despite the closure of the main road for repairs! but a clean, comfortable place to stay.Only surprise was the lack of Wine Glasses for the six adults staying there. Property a little tired in places e.g. stair carpet. Good value for the money.
Friendly and accommodating host. Position as said so 20 min walk to the centre, 5 mins to nearest supermarket. Comfortable property with everything we needed.
Our time in Oxford was made easier by the very good location of the townhouse. And when the epic Botley Road project is done...it will be even better! Easy access to grocery store, the downtown core, major roads in/out of Oxford, and the extensive bike paths in the area.
Really happy with property, price and location for our stay in Oxford.
Handy location as supermarket just down road, parking at property and we walked into Oxford every day which took around 10-15 mins
Host was responsive with communication
Suited my family stay - all adults
This spacious house is in a quiet spot, tucked away at the end of a road. It has access to a large park with a playground and a beautiful stream. There is a grocery store just a few minutes walk away. We highly recommend this rental for families. The landlord was responsive, clear and kind.

Suitable Location for Stay in Oxford
This apartment suited our needs just fine. It is about a 20 - 30 min walk to the city center. It could use some cleaning and updating but for our purposes it worked quite well.
This property is badly in need of some TLC. The kerb appeal was lacking with weeds over growing the front path and inside a floor covering throughout most of the house which urgently needs replaced. It is worn to the point of being dangerous, in my opinion, on the stairs.Having said that, the property was clean in all the places that mattered, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well enough equipped. I query there being only three chairs at the kitchen table though when the property has three double beds. The location is good, with Waitrose 5 minutes walk away and 20 to 25 minutes walk to virtually all the sights of Oxford. We especially enjoyed our strolls through the park behind to North Hinksey village and the Fishes gastropub. Plenty of good restaurants in Oxford city centre as well. Overall really enjoyed our stay.
Terrific location, with comfortable beds, great showers and clean bathrooms. The kitchen could use some additional glasses, cooking/baking pots. and rugs need an uplift. It would be helpful to have the TV connect, with personal log in with Netfixs and other services. All in all we enjoyed our stay, and the large room was wonderful to entertain my grandchildren. I would certainly return.
We were a family with three children, the two girls shared a bedroom, our son had one of his own. The kitchen was spacious with a big dining table, plenty of dishes and cutlery (for more than one meal). The only thing we missed was a teapot, so we bought one at Oxfam. WiFi was very good, plenty of TV Programmes and a very nice and comfortable living room. The beds we're very good. The house is well situated in a very quiet street (dead end); there is an Aldi and a Waitrose at 500 m distance. We rented Oxbikes, so we had an easy way into town through the parks right behind the House, along the Thames etc. We felt at Home straight away.

House is desperately in need of some TLC. Arrival is not very pleasant as house seems to be in a small industrial estate/ retail park, which is unattractive. Weeds encroaching on to the front path, and first impressions ruined by the appalling, horrible carpet, throughout the house. Carpet torn and falling to pieces!! And very rough underfoot. An accident waiting to happen, in our opinion. Furniture poor quality on the whole and unattractive. Spacious rooms and mostly clean. Kitchen quite well equipped, but chairs really rock hard! Small children could have difficulties on the stairs and there are potential trips and falls everywhere. No information about the house or the area to be found at all, which meant long sessions searching the Internet. If you couldn't use the Internet you would know nothing! A map would have helped. Major problems in this area caused by the closure of the main road - for 3 years now, so a car journey into the city centre involved a lengthy detour. Cabs costing around 20 each way. Walking to city centre possible- took about 15 / 20 minutes but had to navigate huge road works. No mention of these travel and transport problems on the website. Waitrose and Aldi a 5 minute walk away. Quiet street in the daytime and at night.Ian, the host , seemed very nice when messaging and responded quickly. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would not return. Photos of part of the carpet.

Great location but needs work
Great location for getting into Oxford and close to supermarkets. The property is in need of some TLC, for example carpets are worn, care needs to be taken on the stairs to prevent slipping. Overall the level of cleanliness wasn’t great and the property is in need of a deep clean throughout. There was no way of using the oven as one knob was missing and the symbols have worn off the other one. The microwave can be used as an oven, so we did use this for small meals. At the time of writing there are major road works on Botley road - buses into town are only a few minutes walk away but can’t get further than the railway station at the moment. We left the car on the drive (really handy) and walked, took us about 20 minutes. Also not far from the A34 bypass so easy to get further afield.
