Welcome to 2 Farmers Court, a beautifully presented, stylish open plan house situated in the heart of the Peak District. Centrally located within Bakewell, yet with the peace and quiet of a countryside residence.
Conveniently situated within a courtyard in the centre of town, the property benefits from two free parking spaces within the private onsite car park. Explore the Peak District from this fantastic location! Well behaved pets are very welcome!
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The newly renovated cottage is over two floors and has two generous sized double bedrooms both with en-suites and bespoke built in wardrobes.
The first bedroom has a standard size double bed, dressed with a memory foam mattress and Dusk bed linen. Built in wardrobes and office desk plus and en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom has a standard sized double bed, dressed with a memory foam mattress and Dusk bed linen. Built in wardrobes and an en-suite.
On the ground floor is the recently fitted family sized bathroom. Fitted with a modern suite comprising of a shower enclosure, shavers mirror, towel radiator, wash basin and wc.
Cooking & Dining
If you are not tempted to dine out every night in one of the Peak District's fine eating establishments, then you can cook happily in the spacious, well equipped modern kitchen.
With a contemporary white gloss finish and granite work tops, the kitchen is well stocked for a self-catered holiday. The kitchen has a Bosch washing machine, a Bosch dishwasher, electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster plus an abundance of cookware, pots and pans, microwave and crockery/utensils/glassware. The cleverly designed dining space has been added which comfortably sits four people.
Utility Room
The utility room consists of a tumble dryer.
Cosy Sitting Room
Decorated in Thundercloud blue and furnished with modern fabrics with a country style, this is a charming snug to curl up and relax in after a day out in the fresh air.
There is a 55"Smart LG TV with the BT sport package and you are able to log into your Netflix / Apple or Amazon Prime accounts. There is also free WIFI to help you keep in touch with the outside world (this is not obligatory!).
Within the courtyard there are 2 private car parking spaces with signs. The entrance into the courtyard is a little tight but with care and attention you will be totally fine!
You are very central and approximately 30 seconds away from the nearest coffee shop! All amenities are a couple of minutes away including shops, pubs and restaurants.
Outdoor Space & The Peak District
There is a shared courtyard with local residents and the cottage has two private car parking spaces. The courtyard provides access to Bakewell town centre and a little private relaxation/seating area.
Tucked away off the road down a sheltered lane within a private courtyard, yet in the heart of the popular town of Bakewell, you can walk from you doorstep to the pubs, restaurants, a country hotel, shops and plenty of delightful tea rooms and cafe's.
The popular market town of Bakewell has a rich array of independent shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. Within is within a 2 mile drive or walk along the meandering River Derwent is the picturesque village of Ashford-In-The-Water.
You are literally a short drive away from the most amazing of Peak District treats for you to enjoy - Chatsworth House (5 mins), Haddon Hall (3 minutes), historic spa town of Buxton (15 minutes) to name just a few .
From Bakewell you can jump onto The Monsal Trail which can take you all the way off road by foot or bicycle to Buxton with lovely cafes to stop off on the way. Alternatively, head off on foot in whatever direction takes your fancy with access to the most incredible walks and dramatic landscape the Peak District has to offer right from your doorstep.
