About this property
RURAL LUXURY ROOM WITH WETROOM and self catering facility
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space in Rural Staffordshire close to the Historic Village of Abbots Bromley. Recently renovated Barn conversion, this guest suite provides a comfortable place to stay and explore the surrounding Countryside, with footpaths just outside your door.
Superb en-suite and added facilities of fridge, mircowave, kettle to provide you with a few home comforts.
Rest in a Super King Sized bed with the new Designer 'Emma' Mattress.
Marmalade Barn was recently converted in 2023, whilst the outside wall is waiting to be completed, the inside of this Barn has been done to a high spec. The 'Guest Suite' was designed with 'Guests' in mind from the beginning, hence you will find many features such as Fridge, microwave, hot plate, kettle, toaster etc providing you with a more 'self-contained' feel.
The ensuite is a wet room and has a drench and handheld walk-in shower. Double sinks, toilet and a place to hang your towels.
There is a 50 inch smart TV which is connected to an Ariel so many programmes are available as well as you being able to log into your favourite TV apps such as Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Set right on Orange lane, Marmalade Barn is surrounded by countryside in front of a working farm. The lane is very quiet with the occasional farm vehicles using it.
You can hear many rural creatures, Tawny owls, pheasants, woodpeckers, red deer and Muntjac.
There is the famous award-winning Hoar Cross Hall Spa resort with 7 minutes drive and the Deer Park which has a cafe/restaurant and farm shop based on a working farm.
Abbots Bromley village, famous for its annual Horn Dance, is a mere 2 miles away and has several pubs, a café and village shop.
Additionally, The Meynell Ingram Arms is a 7 minute drive and is a very popular rural Public House & restaurant with a great food and drinks menu.
We have added a guest bed which is a single click clack design. This is for a small child only. Booking by request for a small laundry charge.
The room has underfloor heating throughout so you will feel a constant temperature of around 21/22 degrees - a real welcome on those colder days.
For those special occasions if you would like a bottle of champagne in your room either on ice if we are around, or in the fridge - this can be arranged separately by getting in touch before you arrive. Champagnes range from £40 upwards.
We will shortly be able to offer the use of a hot tub which can be pre-booked directly after your initial booking @ £40 for 2 hours use.
