An individually designed, two-bedroom, 2 bathroom, detached modern holiday home with a traditional theme, that enjoys a fabulous rural outlook to the rear. It is located on the edge of the desirable village of Wissett, near Halesworth. 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The cottage was completed in 2007 to a very high specification and offers a blend of flexible open-plan living, yet has a cosy cottage feel. The cottage is light and spacious throughout. You walk into the entrance hall / kitchen / dining area and wet room on the right with French doors leading out to the rear. This area links wonderfully well with the sitting room to the left where there is a brick fireplace with an eco wood burner, with doors leading out to the back. The kitchen leads into a separate utility, with an indoor clothes airer / boot room with its own entrance (at the front of the cottage).
The ground floor is marble and engineered oak, with underfloor heating throughout. There are radiators on the first floor.
The oak staircase leads to a spacious first-floor landing area where you can enjoy the views and the horses frolicking in the fields. There are 2 double bedrooms and a shared family bathroom. By default, the beds will be made up as 1 x double beds and 2 x single beds. Both bedrooms contain zip and link beds, so the house can also be made up as 4 x singles (2ft.6) or 2 x doubles (kingsize). Please let us know at the point of booking if you require any other bed configurations than the default.
Outside there is a generous shingled parking area large enough for 2 cars. The cottage has a south-facing garden to the rear that overlooks the gently undulating countryside beyond, and neighbouring paddocks and pastureland. Although the cottage is dog friendly, the garden is not enclosed, so is not secure for dogs off lead. There is a teak table and 4 chairs.
Should you wish to work whilst staying at the cottage, there is super fast wifi which can handle multiple devices at the same time.
The cottage is just a 10-minute drive from a number of popular wedding venues and is therefore equipped with a steam iron and ironing board, a full-length mirror and generous clothes hanging space.
Bed Configuration: By default, the beds in this property are made up as 1 x double and 2 x singles. Both bedrooms contain zip-and-link beds so you can also have the house made up as 4 x singles or 2 x doubles. Please let us know as soon as possible if you require a bed configuration other than the default.
REVIEWS A gem of a place to stay Scored 10/10 A delightful cottage with lovely homely touches. It was well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beautiful welcome basket was so thoughtful and went down very well with everyone. It was also a pleasure to sit outside and watch the horses and rabbits in the next field.

Good location, not too far from touristy areas but very quiet in the evenings, good for getting the children to sleep. Huge garden to play or run around in! We were made to feel welcome and lots of information given in the welcome folder.
We would recommend checking absolutely all the items you want to use in the kitchen cupboards and drawers within the 24hr period, Otherwise lovely and clean with fresh towels linen, extra bedding, a generous amount of toiletries, washing up liquid, loo rolls and kitchen towel. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
