Ready to relax to the sounds of the sea? Here is your amazing beachfront condo just steps to the water, located on the beautiful island of Kauai. This amazing oceanfront Kuhio Shores villa is located in Poipu on the south shore of Kauai. Our building is rare because It is one of the closest to the water units you can stay at in all of Hawaii! Our recently remodeled unit #116 is a ground floor unit which allows access to the beautiful lawn where you can sit in one of our three provided beach chairs, relax and enjoy the scenery from sunrise to sunset right off the lanai. We also have snorkel equipment and a short 2 minute walk from the lanai and you are at one of the best snorkeling beaches on Kauai. Our place has the standard appliances (including a refrigerator, stove, and microwave), brand new K cup coffee maker with a handful of Cups to get you going. We also have a drip coffee machine if you prefer. BBQ area in the parking lot. We have new kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops, vinyl bamboo flooring, brand new sofa bed and living room chairs, and a private master bedroom with a California King mattress. AIR CONDITIONING is installed in the master bedroom only, which is nice on those hot summer nights. One thing we truly enjoy though are the tradewinds that blow through the windows and doors when they are open creating a comfortable flow through the villa and the sounds of the surf without AC. Picture yourself here with your favorite beverage watching the turtles, surfers, and colorful sunsets as hundreds of parrots fly over head every evening. PARADISE FOUND!

Kuhio Shores is a dream. It is absolute paradise and the perfect place for my husband and I to honeymoon. The condo is adorable, clean, and was well stocked with beach related items. The lanai was our favorite part and where we started and ended each day. We were able to see many turtles and dolphins in the mornings. If you’re looking to snorkel, this is also the perfect place to stay as the best snorkeling spot (in our opinion) on the island is just a short walk away to lawai beach."

A Week In Paradise

We spent the week of December 4-11 in this beautiful accommodation. We loved the location and especially loved being able to sit on the lawn and overlook the ocean. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to choose from. The kitchen was well stocked and we liked being able to have food on hand. Tyler was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this location! It is one of my favorite spots on Kauai. The condo is stocked with everything you need - including snorkeling gear! We woke up each morning having coffee on the lanai watching the turtles swim. BEST sunset on the island as well. I will look to book this place each time we visit :)

Great property and location. The view is outstanding - better than the pictures! The small sea wall is about 20 ft from the back patio. Excellent snorkeling was about 30 seconds away. A great shave ice across the street. Tyler was easy to work with. Sent all the information and never had to bother him again. Check-in was a breeze. The bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the bedroom cool. We didn't use the TV because we spent all the time on the deck -breakfast coffee, dinner and wine - watching the waves and surfers. Great poke at the Koloa Fish Market which is a short drive. Would definitely come back!

This condo was the perfect location for our Kauai vacation. Nearby restaurants and shops, but also quiet and private. Could not get closer to ocean. View is impeccable. Loved sunset here.

The perfect stay

We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave. The condo location was a dream! There was plenty of space for us and our two littles. The king size bed and pull out couch was plenty for us but the air mattress was the highlight of the trip for my 7 year old. The condo was beautifully updated, fully stocked and every detail was taken care of. Tyler was so kind and we hope to be able to stay again one day.

perfect location and the unit had all necessary amenities.

The location is incredible. From the porch we got to see lots of turtles and whales. We are one monk seal playfully give chase to a girl surfer going out off of the rocks. We had fun watching all of the surfers all week long. Both expensive and affordable food options and shopping options were located conveniently close by.

We stayed here for 9 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary. The door is literally 15 yards from the ocean, and the waves crash against the shore 24/7. It is a beautiful spot. The condo itself is very nice. Full kitchen. King bed. GREAT shower. Property owner was very responsive and allowed a late check out since our flight wasn't until late evening. I could not recommend this more. We will be going back to Kaua'i, and I likely won't even look anywhere else.

Poipu beauty

Loved the location!! The property is lovely and I would give it a 4.5 if I could, versus the 4.0. It has all of what is needed for beach/ocean play. The bathroom shower floor needs some refreshing. The A/C in the bedroom is very noisy so we used it just one night. However, it was not needed with the overhead fan and windows. Bed is very comfy. The living room furniture needs to be a bit more conversational - maybe 2 comfortable chairs across from the couch. I would go there again! Thank you!

Great location for snorkeling!

The location is great for snorkeling right outside the door in front of Beach House restaurant. Morning coffee on the deck was always pleasurable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were grateful for a slightly later check out since our flight didn’t leave till 9:30 pm. The sofa bed wasn’t comfy so both my 2 teen/adult kids opted for the couch/twin air mattress. I think if listed for “4 people,” these sleeping accommodations need improvement. There were only enough blankets for 3 people. Luckily we had brought a small blanket for the plane so could make do. I would have appreciated basic toiletries like shampoo/conditioner, which seems the standard at VRBO/air bnb rentals, and an extra towel or two to get through our stay. Also maybe a drying rack-the rules state that you aren’t to hang things out on the deck but it’s the BEACH!!! Wet towels and bathing suits galore need somewhere to dry! These are just my suggestions. To end on a high note, we were really grateful to use the snorkeling gear, chairs, etc. These things enhanced the trip. Thank you!

Great Location, and a Great View

This ground floor condo is in a great spot, and treated us to a real show out the sliding glass door: beautiful water, an active surf break, and sea turtles galore. Incredibly short walk to Lawai Beach next door to the west with great snorkeling, and several other lovely beaches within minutes on foot or by car. There's shopping and dining nearby within a short walk or car ride as well. Keypad entry made coming and going easy and didn't put us at risk of losing the keys at the beach. The place was clean on arrival, and the expectations for how you leave it are totally reasonable as well. There are some minor fit and finish issues here and there around the unit as one would expect in a lived-in home; to be clear, this didn't bother me in the slightest given the great value for the location and amenities, just something I noticed. We had everything we needed close at hand to cook, and made good use of the chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels. There's not a big grocery store super close, so if you're planning on eating in or packing lunches, consider stopping for groceries on the way from the airport; that said, there's smaller markets nearby for convenience. On that note, there's no pantry per-se, but we just used the top of the fridge and one end of the counter and got by just fine, and we cooked quite a bit. Overall the 5-star ratings are well deserved. Nowhere is going to be all things to all people, but this came pretty close to perfect for the two of us! Thanks!

The location.....spot on!!!! Couldnt be any better! To walk out of your slider and trip once and end up in the ocean...wonderful! Location, Location, Location!!! My wife and I spent 6 nights at the property. Very cozy accommodations and furnished with everything we needed. Sleeping with the windows open and hearing ocean breezes was so restful. We became quite fond of the 6 am rooster alarm so we never missed a sunrise. Tyler was very responsive to a small request.

It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and the view from the patio was absolutely beautiful—we spent every morning and evening enjoying it.The included beach gear was a huge bonus.
