This house was absolutely gorgeous! Better than the pictures. We loved that there were extra essentials all throughout the house (as a family were always forgetting the little things lol) and even had plenty of beach necessities!

This is a fantastic location, near the coty and the beaches. Great yard for pets, nice interior design taste. Our stay was perfect 10/10. Caitlin is veey friendy and responds quickly. The house also has beach accesories which is a big plus. The hottube for 4 people is a great touch. Every time I want to come to Sarasota I will tey to stay here.

Great Vacation Home in Sarasota

The stay at this cute, pet friendly home was awesome. It’s actually our 2nd time visiting this home. Perfect for 4 people and dogs had room to explore the backyard. Living space was comfortable to lounge around after a day at the beach. Kitchen was also well supplied for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal! Appreciated this great place - will be keeping it in mind for the future!

The Perfect Stay

This is my most favorite place to stay! I love it so much I’ve already booked again for 2025. It’s absolutely perfect. The owner communicates so fast, it’s so clean and has everything you could possibly need with a hot tub. The location is perfect and it’s so close to so many places and beaches. It’s the perfect little piece of paradise!

We loved staying here. Not too close yet not too far away. It was as if we lived by the beach. We enjoyed everything about the fully stocked & clean house. The hostess was a wonderful person and very considerate. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

Clean Well Decorated Home!

Convenient location! Elise our canine enjoyed the yard and neighborhood for walks! Well equipped kitchen! Felt very private with the front fence. Wonderful two weeks! We would love to come back!

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There are a lot of kitchen appliances and other conveniences which make life much easier. End of Summer trip.

This was our second time staying here this year. Owners are very helpful and responsive. House was great, everything was clean and more than everything you could need. We cooked all our meals in yhis trip except two. Our only downside was we had to end our stay early because of a looming hurricane, which was our decision. We hope to stay again someday.

Hidden in Paradise

Our stay was absolutely amazing from check in to check out!!! This house was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice! The location was perfect to every beach we went to everyday. I fell in love with this property. The communication with the owner was great and quick. It was very clean and we wanted for absolutely nothing. We will 100 percent be staying here again and again. I am so happy I found this piece of paradise ❤️

This was a wonderful property, excellent renovation of a 1950's house. The house is well stocked with things you typically need in a kitchen. Very nice totally fenced yard so good for pets. The property owner/manager was so easy to deal with and very quickly responded to any questions we had. Neighborhood was OK but close to grocery stores (Trader Joes, Publix) and many restaurants.

Location. Location. Location

We loved the convenience that no matter which way we were headed for the day, it was super convenient to get there. I will be honest and say the other reviews sold me on staying here. It is very clean on a super private property. Only 10-20 minutes to any of the beaches on Siesta Key. Plus side is to get early parking at any of the beach lots and take the free trolley to where ever else you want to go/see for the day on Siesta Key. Caitlin was wonderful with answering any questions. I would definitely book here again in the future.

Great location

This property while not on the beach offers in town amenities with quick access to numerous beaches. This is the second time we have stayed. No worries with such a rapid response from the owner. We plan to stay again next year!

I have been going to Florida for the past 10 years to vacation & I have stayed in tons of places but I think this place was my absolute fav place!! It was close to everything & fully stocked even down to toilet paper (LOL) the host was amazing also, always replied back ASAP. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Staying in Paradise

We come to Sarasota every April on our Best Friends trip and each year we love to stay at this house! It’s perfect in every way! There is nothing we don’t love about it! It’s so clean and in a great location so close to so many things! Communication with the owner is great too. We have already booked for next year!

Excellent location at a great price

The proximity to Siesta Key was awesome! Beach accessories were great for family with small kids. The house is clean and the kitchen and bathrooms are nicely updated. Loved having a washer and dryer in property as well. There is construction going on behind the property that starts very early - wasn’t a problem for us as we are early risers. The only minor inconvenience was that the listing said it slept six however there are only two bedrooms with two queen beds and no pullout couch. Also the living area does not have any curtains/shades so difficult sleeping even if on the couch. The listing was such a good price though that purchasing an air mattress was no problem for us and there was plenty of space within the second bedroom for the air mattress- so all was perfect with a quick Amazon delivery! Would absolutely return to this house thank you again for the great stay!

Comfortable and Convenient

Accommodates large dogs with a fully fenced privacy yard. Centrally located to everywhere and everything. The comforts and extras this property has to offer is a huge bonus.

Home Away From Home

We love this place. It is in a nice neighborhood. Close to the beach and shopping. The hot tub is very nice & the grounds were kept up nicely. The inside is very bright and comfortable. We really like the fact that our dogs can come with us. The kitchen is well stocked did not find the need to be without anything to cook with.

Caitlin Miller is the sailor's daughter owner. She and her mom Sally embarked on saving this original florida home just one year ago. She is an amazing cyclist who travels sometimes 100 miles east of in a day. She has also has enjoyed helping on a sailboat delivery from St Martin to Sarasota. A pet lover herself, she welcomes well behaved dogs. The Sailor's Daughter is a non smoking home with many outdoor areas for that activity.
