It was a cute, great location. Close to beaches, a short drive. Shopping is less than 5 minutes. The host was very accommodating and had open communications with me prior to me arriving. I would stay there again for sure.

This charming duplex was exactly what I was looking for! Everything was so clean and so much natural sunlight coming through the big windows. I was on my own for the week and felt completely safe and comfortable. Clay, the owner, literally has everything you need and more to make your stay easy. He provides everything needed for a perfect vacation. Located near the beautiful beaches and great restaurants, I highly recommend the Merci Cafe, which is a 2 minute drive away. The croissants were heavenly. I’ll definitely return!

Amazing!

Clay was an amazing host. right next to crescent Beach. It only took maybe 5 minutes to public parking. The house is very nice, and perfect for a couples getaway. Very nice neighborhood as well. It is also just minutes from siesta key, and endless places to eat. We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Comfortable, quaint, and centrally located

Exactly as advertised. Five minutes to Siesta Key beach, fifteen minutes to downtown Sarasota, twenty minutes to SRQ. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet neighborhood. Beach chairs, cooler and umbrella included. Perfect for a two-person week-long getaway. Check-in and check-out were simple. Zero complaints!

Our stay was phenomenal! Clay was the perfect host. He even left food in the refrigerator for us. The house was impeccable and it had everything we needed. We plan to try to stay there again the next time we visit the area.

This is a great rental for 2. Right next to the beach and 30 minutes to anywhere worth going. Best bed we’ve ever had in a rental!!

Visiting family

This was the perfect place for us, it had everything we needed to cook dinner. The neighborhood is very quiet and very close to everything. Communication with clay was really easy. We did not have any issues while we were there. We will definitely stay again when we come back!

Affordable Vacation Rental

The property is as listed, the neighborhood is nice to walk around and close to a few of the small shopping plazas by the water. Clay is very helpful, hospitable and responsive. The refrigerator is supplied with bread, butter, cheese, eggs, snacks and wine, which was very appreciated. The neighbor that lives in the other apartment is nice and quiet.The only suggestion I have is to provide more bath towels and paper towels, especially for those who are staying for a considerable amount of time.Thanks Clay for everything!

Heaven on earth

To us it really was super outstanding, my husband has MS we need it a short vacation and this was best choice for sure, from location to hospitality, welcoming and best of all the owners where super attentive and nice. Probably my best VRBO experience ever!

This place is absolutely wonderful, and so is Clay. When I initially read the reviews before booking, I wondered if everything the guests said could possibly true for every guest. But, I can verify Clay was attentive, quickly responding to any questions at all! And he stocked the fridge with wonderful snacks and basic foods that helped so much after a long trip. The duplex is very well laid-out, has everything you might need, and has a big back yard. The kitchen is very small, but definitely functional and stocked with necessary cookware; I cooked several meals during the week I stayed. The neighborhood is great, tucked in between Tamiami Trail and the bay, it's a 5-minute drive to the nearest beach (or a 20 minute walk); a 7-minute drive to the famous and wonderful Siesta Beach. I really loved my stay at this place, and hope to be back soon.

Beach trip 2025

We had a wonder beach week. We have visited Sarasota many times and enjoy Siesta Keys beach & Lido Beach. The apartment had everything we needed, we appreciated the beach chairs and beach umbrella. The location is so convenient to several stores, shopping & dinning. The host , Clay , was very efficient and check in and check out was simple. We will definitely be back if we travel without kids again. Thank you

Lovely house in a great location

The house and area are great. Just a short cycle to the beaches, stores, restaurants and bars close by too. Clay, the host, is very helpful and understanding, he lives close by and definitely goes beyond expectations. Would definitely stay again!

Great Place near beaches

The place is real nice with everything you need to cook. We cooked almost every night. Very close to beaches and the Publix supermarket. Shopping all around too. Place has a lot of room. The place also had chairs and umbrella for the beach as well. We will definitely be back. Thanks Clay.

Siesta key

Having rental properties through you on three other occasions at different parts of the country this was by far the best property manager we’ve had. Had a couple of decent size problems during our stay and can’t believe how quickly he handled them and fix them seamlessly.

Wonderful retreat in Sarasota/Siesta Key

I explored beaches from Venice to Bradenton all within easy reach for day trips. The unit is spacious for 1/1 with efficiency kitchen and enormous backyard. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the neighborhood is safe and serene. Clay is an excellent communicator and generous host. Gracious hospitality having groceries in the fridge!!

Amazing stay!

House was clean and perfect for my husband and I. Wonderful neighborhood that we felt super safe in. The icing on the cake was the food in the fridge that we were able to enjoy after a day of driving and dr appts. He was also very accommodating in allowing us to extend our stay for short notice dr appts as well. Highly recommend!!
