We absolutely loved our stay! Only 20mins from Holiday Valley. Beautiful frozen lake, 2 fireplaces, pingpong & arcade were bonuses! We would definitely stay again. Home was clean & had everything we could need. Beds were comfortable & there were plenty of extra pillows. Couches reclined & there was plenty of seating. No complaints!

Family Vacation

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at 6 potter. Both times we stayed for a week and both times were amazing! The house is beautiful and the host is so easy to work with. My family and I are already working on planning our 3rd rental here! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic place

This was an awesome place to stay!! John was a great host and the house had so much to offer. We enjoyed an amazing sunset on the dock and played a ton of games at the house. The location was perfect for our drive to get to holiday valley. Place is exactly as described and even better!!

Halloween getaway

Fantastic spot on the lake!

The property was nicer than it looks in the photos. The place was clean and the location on the lake was fantastic! We spent as much time as we could on the back deck and dock whenever we couldn't be on a boat. The kids enjoyed fishing and kayaking and Lime Lake Marina brought a pontoon boat right to our dock. The video game machine and the ping pong table provided hours of entertainment in the evenings for this very competitive family! We loved every minute of it!

Perfect Place For a Summer Getaway

I'm a 4th generation "Lime-Laker", and finding a newly constructed cottage that comfortably housed our extended family is truly a rare find. The kids loved the play room and everyone appreciated the air conditioning! The neighbors were very friendly and there was plenty of parking. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Maybe best of all, great fishing right from the dock!

Perfect Weekend

Overall good experience. We've owned rentals so we know how hard it is to get the cleaning staff to really clean. House is on a crawl space, so the floors can get pretty cold when the weather dips. Master bedroom draperies create an unwelcome atmosphere. Suggest rearranging the furniture and changing the black curtains to something more inviting.

Nice place!

The property was roomy, clean, and well kept. The owner was very quick to reply to questions and concerns. The kitchen was stocked with just about every utensil and dish you could possibly need plus various other items people had obviously bought and left there for following guests - as happens at most lake houses in my experience. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets for everyone. My 13 year old didn’t want to leave her bed all week and wanted to take the comforter home with us! The only things I’d “complain” about are minor. There was a shortage of towel bars for hanging wet towels to dry. And there was no hardware on the kitchen cabinets. Which wasn’t a real issue for most of us except my 70 year old mother who has arthritic hands. Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice lake house to rent.

Relaxing after NYC

Our family spent five days exploring NYC and then a delightful few days with no agenda other than enjoying "lake life" in this fantastic home. First, let me say, these were THE BEST mattresses I've slept on outside of my own house! So comfortable! And there are so many beds, it was a big perk for my six kids to all be able to have their own beds, frequently when we travel they have to share. We enjoyed the kayaks, lounging on the deck, playing the arcade game and a quick trip up to Niagara Falls. Despite a 10 hour drive home, my crew was asking if we could go back to "the lake house" in NY someday.

Worked out well.

We brought our son and his family of six to ski at Holiday Valley. All but one of “the kids” are full grown and preferred to sleep in a bed of their own. It worked out perfectly for the nine of us. We claimed the master bedroom and everyone else had their own bed. Location was rated good, because we would have preferred to be closer to the ski resort. However the 20 minute drive was worth the difference in cost.

Nice lodge

We came to ski at Holiday Valley with another family. Great layout for families and kids. It is a little bit of a longer drive from the ski slopes than we would have liked in a snow storm at night, but fine in good weather.
