Great house

We stayed for a week in this very nice and clean house in this wonderful region of France/Spain. Rafting, hiking, mountainbiking, everything is possible. But also a visit to San Sebastian, little villages, the beaches and so on. One week is too short. We had good contact with the gentle owner. Thanks for that

The accommodation was better than the pictures on the website and was perfect for 6 adults. The kitchen equipment was more than adequate for our needs and plenty of of plates crockery etc.Because we were 3 couples we found sharing the electric gate key a bit awkward but overcame it by each couple taking a different french door key to access the house and get the gate key. We left the pedestrian gate unlocked. Sounds difficult but did work for us. Anne DH

Un formidable séjour !

Nous venons de passer 2 semaines dans cette très belle location. La maison est très bien équipée et la vue sur les montagnes superbe ! Malgré une météo capricieuse nous avons pu découvrir la beauté du pays basque en alternant visites de très jolis villages, randonnées sur la côte ou en montagne sans oublier les très bons restaurant d’Ainhoa ! Accueillie par la très gentille Alexandra un gâteau basque nous attendait à notre arrivée ! Attention très appréciée! Expérience à renouveler !!

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette location, très bien équipée, très bien entretenue et propre. Le propriétaire a été très à l'écoute de nos besoins : arrivée tardive, besoins d'équipements pour un bébé et nous a permis de passer de superbes vacances en famille. Nous recommandons donc les yeux fermés cette location toute proche d'Ainhoa mais au calme.

Tout est parfait

La location est située dans la très jolie campagne basque. Les plages se trouvent à environ 25/30 minutes de voiture. La maison est très propre et très bien équipée. Idéal pour des enfants. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique. L'accueil des propriétaires est très sympathique et ces derniers restent joignables en cas de besoin.

Confortable havre de paix face à un paysage de montagnes magnifique et tout pres des plages

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour d 'une semaine à Ainhoa .dans cette jolie maison , agencée avec goût , tout à fait fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Rien ne manque...Notre famille étant composée de deux adultes et trois grands adolescents, cette maison était suffisamment grande pour laisser à chacun son espace de liberté, ce que nous avons apprécié. La terrasse sans vis-à-vis direct et couverte d'un toit était comme une pièce supplémentaire et nous permettait dès le réveil d'admirer le magnifique paysage de montagnes qui s'offrait à nous, telle une carte postale... et en soirée les repas à la plancha y étaient un régal ...Pour qui aime cuisiner , la cuisine est aussi richement équipée en ustensiles de qualité... A chacun ses goûts donc..! Concernant sa localisation, Ainhoa s 'inscrit dans l éventail de plusieurs villages classés qui ont chacun leur charme et sont très vivants (Ainhoa, Itxassou, Espelette , Sare, ...)et permet de superbes randonnées , en pleine nature et/ ou à la rencontre des petits chevaux élevés en liberté dans la région , les pottoks....Sur les hauteurs du village , nous avons même aperçu un aigle royal de deux mètres d'envergure... Tout un programme donc pour les adeptes de nature et de randonnée en moyenne montagne....La proximité des plages de Guéthary- Bidart , Biarritz , St Jean de Luz sont autant de possibilités de se délasser ou de s"adonner au surf....L 'Espagne à quelques kilomètres peut aussi étre l 'occasion de déguster quelques pintxos/ tapas....et Saint Sébastien , tout proche, vaut le détour.L 'accueil basque est vraiment chaleureux et les restaurants savent mettre en valeur les produits du terroir, et ce à des prix tout à fait raisonnables.....Bref , au départ de cette jolie maison, tous les programmes sont envisageables pour passer de belles vacances , reposantes et ressourçantes. Merci donc pour votre accueil et c 'est sûr, nous reviendrons ! Une semaine ne nous a pas suffi....!
