For the green fingered we have Hestercombe House & Gardens (35 minutes) RHS Rosemoor (1 hour), and the beautiful grounds and houses at Knightshayes and Killerton (National Trust) less than 30 minutes away.

About the host
Hosted by Chris
We love Mid-Devon and live in the same village as Grandma’s Cottage. It’s a beautiful area convenient for so much of South, East and North Devon as well as Somerset, Dartmoor and Exmoor.
Why they chose this property
There’s so much to do locally and further afield. We hope our guests enjoy the area as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
It’s over 300 years old (so watch out for low thresholds on the ground floor!). There’s a well in the garden which is fitted with a grill (but please don’t let children climb on it). The cottage is in Coldharbour, a very picturesque part of Uffculme. Parking is on street and usually outside (though not guaranteed).
