A lovely spacious open plan property in a quiet countryside location. Clean, comfortable, peaceful, well equipped with great views. Philip was really welcoming and helpful.
Absolutely superb - couldn’t fault it ! Clean, perfect for the dogs with the paddock - we can’t think of anything to improve it . The owner was very friendly and helpful . They have thought of everything to make our visit like home ! Thank you
Lovely house, extremely well-equipped, and with the most genial hosts you could wish for.We had two weeks at Little Owl Barn in July/August 25, and found it to be really comfortable, with everything you could need (in fact the most amount of kitchen equipment of any house we've rented), in a lovely setting. Very conveniently close to Wellington and Taunton, whilst still completely in the countryside. The hosts are fantastic: really friendly and approachable. We would totally recommend this place for a relaxing holiday in comfort.

A lovely rural oasis, quiet and peaceful. The two large fields were heaven for our dog to run around in at her leisure. Philip was very helpful about the property and the milk, tea and coffee on first arrival were very welcome. it's well situated for visits to the coast and the country.
Lovely spacious property, very clean, beautiful views and very peaceful, just what we needed. Great garden for our dog very secure, he loved it! Lots of places to visit within half an hour and local town for shopping. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The barn was very roomy, well equipped with beautiful views out of the patio window. Perfect in every way! Gorgeous views, fabulous kitchen!
Philip and Sarah are generous hosts. This restored barn has every modern comfort and very well appointed home and well equipped kitchen. One of the best HomeAway stays ever! My stay in Wellington was perfect, thanks to these fine accommodations!
The property is just as described, spacious and quiet and beautiful. Views from the lounge are breathtaking and as it's summer we spent a good deal of time with the patio doors open and the dog coming in and out. The yard is extremely well fenced (our beagle always checks). The house was well-stocked, clean, and easy. We had ZERO issues or nitpicks. The wifi was excellent, the dishes clean and plentiful, the appliances all worked (including an excellent washer/dryer), even the toilet paper was good quality. Philip was truly helpful and responded quickly when I had a query about getting a delivery. You should also know the location is superb, too superb really as there are so many interesting things to do within a 90 minute drive area that you will not possibly be able to do them all unless perhaps you stay for a month or more. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you to our hosts for such a magnificent trip.
We stayed here for a week from Easter Saturday. We had our 2 dogs with us that absolutely loved the garden and paddock to play in. The home was spacious, light, clean and very well equipped. We will definitely wish to return and recommend anyone to stay here.
This place more than met our expectations! Its easily the nicest place we have stayed as a group of 4 adults and 3 dogs. The dogs were in heaven with their wonderful grounds. It was well equipped and very comfortable. Philip was so helpful. We are looking forward to returning next . Thanks 😊
Really super property with great facilities and excellent for dogs. We stayed over Christmas and had everything we needed in the kitchen for a full Christmas lunch! The barn is very comfortable cosy and warm the Christmas tree was a great touch along with the doggy gift! Our hosts were fantastic and answered all our pre visit questions very quickly and the recommendations for eating out were very good.
We’d love to return when the weather is nicer to explore more.

VERY IMPRESSED
We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at little owl barn. We were very impressed by the barn very clean and well equipped, we would definitely like to return. Our 3 dogs also enjoyed racing round the paddock with no chance of escape. Little Owl barn is in a good location for exploring Devon and Somerset.
Very clean and felt comfortable. Very peaceful with amazing views across fields to the Monument. Well equipped kitchen with more than enough for our needs. Friendly hosts made us feel welcome and answered our questions. Good instructions on how to get to the house and helpful information on restaurants.

Highly recommended
We very much enjoyed our stay here at Little Owl Barn, and even got a good look at two real little owls in a tree we could see from the window. The property is smart and well presented, the owners were very friendly and helpful, the view and location is great, the local pub was lovely, Wellington is near enough to be convenient but the property is remote enough to be a quiet haven. I would gladly visit again, or recommend this to our friends and relatives. It is in a good location for visiting all of Somerset and Devon.

Wonderful property in great location
Little Owl barn was a great find. The property was very clean and spacious and had wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The garden and adjoining paddock were very secure and ideal for letting our dog wander. It's position was ideal for visiting the coast (either in Somerset or Devon) and it had good access to the West Somerset Railway.
Philip the owner made us very welcome when we arrived.
I would thoroughly recommend this property
Wonderful holiday home with very friendly and helpful landlords.
A very beautiful house in a quiet location. Little owl barn was super clean and nicely decorated. A lot of space in the house and a huge garden. Also ideal for dog owners. The landlords Sarah and Philip were very friendly and helpful. An accommodation that we can recommend without any restriction.
Thank you for everything!

The barn was spacious and comfortable. The two bathrooms were a big plus. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside area was lovely and our dog - had she come - would have loved it. The place is very calm and relaxing. Philip was very helpful and responsive when we needed support.
The pillows in the master bedroom were rather flat. Intermittently, pressure in the shower was very low and/or the water was cold.

Lovely Bank holiday weekend spent at Little Owl Barn
This is our second visit to Little Owl Barn & we enjoyed it just as much as the first time.
The weather was lovely so we were all able to enjoy the wonderful enclosed acre garden. The dog probably had the best time out there ;)
We took the kids to Flip out as they love it there but apart from that the rest of the time was spent outdoors. We took a short drive to Sidmouth & stroll along the beach. Had a lovely lunch at Sheppys cider place before sadly heading home. We would highly recommend Little Owl Barn & no doubt will will be back again. Love Tania, Ian, Daniel, Lauren, Freya & Rogue
