About the host

Host profile image
I retired several years ago and enjoy welcoming guests and their dogs to this beautiful part of Devon.

Why they chose this property

We have lived here since 1980 and it is perfect for a rural lifestyle with varied walks such as along the nearby river Otter, over the cliffs on the Jurassic coast just 5 miles away and further afield, areas such as Exmoor and Dartmoor. It is, however, not completely isolated, with lovely towns not too far away.

What makes this property unique

Being able to access good walks over the road to the river Otter and up behind the property is great for dog owners. The Little Barn is in the curtelage of a 16th century thatched Devon Long House with a yard in front and three other very small converted barns. The Little Barn has the advantage of a large garden and gets the morning sun on the balcony.
