The house is well set up for a multi generational family. The only thing we missed was a Kuerig, but there are lots of restaurants just down the street. The house was well located; quiet neighborhood and very close to the tube station. We had a great time!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Princess apartment. Everything was exactly as expected. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions we had before our arrival. The location is fabulous! It is near several attractions and very close to public transportation. But the apartment itself is on a very quiet beautiful street. We would happily stay at the princess apartment again.
Our stay was delightful. Our accommodations we around the corner from the Victoria and Albert museum and the tube. We often travelled by taxi and bus to get into London City Center. Food shops were close and Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Most comfortable king beds with luxurious duvets and sumptuous pillows assured a great nights sleep.
Wonderful property with a perfect location. Feels private whilst a literal stones throw to the V&A, Science and Natural History Museums and directly behind the LDS Chapel and their beautiful Christus Statue and friendly patrons. Less than 10 minutes walk to South Ken station and Hyde Park. Plenty of space (and wifi) for our family of 6. Only thing to take note of…if you end up staying during a heat wave as we did (temps as high as 35C/95F, which are not common) the upper floors will get quite warm. The owners brought us a fan which helped significantly, but I might recommend they keep one on property for each bedroom. Otherwise, our stay was flawless. We will absolutely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to London.
Overall, we highly recommend this property for its location and layout. Our party of five enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and living spaces. Our negative comments are about the advertised air-conditioning, which was only in the 3rd floor bedroom and did not work and the 3rd floor bathroom's sink which had no water pressure and leaked all over the counter. The host was responsive to our request to extend our stay since our original date of arrival changed due to flight cancellations from the US, which was appreciated. Can't beat the location of this property. Nicely appointed.
Our family enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with most of what anyone would need. It is a struggle getting the baggage up the stairs to the bedrooms on the 2nd & especially up to the 3rd floor. But, once you've got them there, if you're staying for a week, as we did, it's not that big an issue. The location is good, in a safe part of London, with several significant museums, a Tube station, and good restaurants within walking distance. Even though it seems tucked away, the Uber and Taxi drivers generally had no trouble finding it. However, if you planning day trips that involve taking trains from Paddington or Waterloo, it's really too far to walk. You'll need to take a Taxi there. I think the Mayfair area maybe more convenient. There were a couple of negatives: (1) They didn't provide enough TP for 6 people staying a week, and they told me I had to go buy any additional paper that we needed. (2) The same was true of bath soap. I didn't travel travel 1000s of miles to London to shop for toilet paper and bath soap! (3) in the 3rd floor, there's a gap in the transition (threshold) from the bedroom into the bath. This caused both my wife and me to stumb our toe on the hard ceramic edge of the floor. It was painful.
