Million Dollar View Near Denver, Big West Skiing, and Countless Natural Wonders

No animals of any type allowed due to family allergies. Spacious home on 2.4 acres of a private section of Lookout Mountain with views from every room above 7,000 feet elevation. Owners live upstairs and lower level unit is self-sufficient. Guest parking for 2-3 cars with sidewalk to private entrance.
2,400 square foot apartment includes full laundry room, complete open kitchen/ bar, 2 decks, and great cell coverage.
The huge game room includes a 55" smart TV, full-size pool table, shuffle board table, foosball table and space to spare.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, huge walk-in closet, desk and work areas, a smart TV and full bath.
The second bedroom has 2 full-size beds, walk-in closet, a desk and reading area.
Well water is excellent for drinking.
Apex Park mountain biking and foot path just feet from your door. Red Rocks concerts, City of Golden and the town of Evergreen are only 10 minutes away.
Denver International Airport is a 40 minute drive.
Loveland, Winter Park and Arapaho Basin ski areas are all within an hours drive. Copper and Keystone are a little further, but doable.
Frequent wildlife sightings of deer, hummingbirds (in summer), elk, turkeys, and hawks, with the occasional coyote or black bear.
We allow 24-48 hours between bookings to fully clean, sanitize and restock the unit so that it will be perfect upon your arrival.

The game room was so fun. The mattresses were comfy plus the heated blanket helped my sore hiking muscles. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed including a fridge with many beverage options. Geri and Tom have thought of everything you could need to be comfortable. It was like staying at a friend's house.

Accommodations were better than expected. Stocked fridge was a pleasure surprise. The beds were comfortable and the electric blanket came in handy, as we had a rather chilly night at Red Rocks and I needed to thaw out. The town of Golden is appropriately named as it is a treasure. We also took advantage of the many activities in the unit, shuffle board, darts, billiards and board games.. this is a great choice for anyone wanting to experience Colorado.

Great Spot for Red Rocks

The house was great. Nice view, spacious, with a stocked refrigerator.If you are going to a concert at Red Rocks this is not THE closest but it is close and a great choice.

Incredible

This was our first time staying in Golden and it was gorgeous! I’ve never seen so much wildlife and beauty straight off of the front porch. We will definitely stay here again. The owners were very helpful and communicative, 10/10 recommend this property!

Red Rocks Concert Getaway

This is the perfect getaway with tons to do nearby, such as visiting Denver, Golden, Red Rocks and Lookout Mountain Overlook. The hosts were super accommodating, with easy checkin and checkout and had several needed items already in the fridge. They even refilled the hummingbird feeder halfway through our stay so we could keep enjoying our daily hummingbird visitors. We will definitely stay again should we come back for another concert at Red Rocks.

What an incredible stay! Geri and Tom are excellent hosts and their property has gurgeous views! The refrigerator was stocked well, with eggs, coffee, half and half, butter, milk, soda, beer and so mulch more. All roads to the house are paved and easy to navigate. Denver and Golden are close by and a quick drive. We were in town for a concert st Red Rocks on Labor Day Weekend and their place made a perfect base for our visit. They have hummingbird feeders on the porch, making for great entertainment! Lots of activities to do at the house, shuffle board, pool and darts. Lots of movies on dvd and great WiFi. You can hike right out the backyard on the Apex Trail. Fully stocked kitchen and views you can’t find anywhere else. We highly recommend that anyone visiting the area book this beautiful space!

Perfect

The owners and property were perfect for out needs. We spent three nights at the property. We were traveling for a concert at Redrocks and exploring for the other days. The property was clean and comfortable and the owner had everything you could imagine for our stay. The owners were also very helpful with recommendations on where to explore. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be coming back in the future.

Sleeping in the Clouds

We came for a concert and decided to make a mini vaca out of it. Views are outrageous. Fantastic location. Fun place to stay between hikes, sightseeing, and grabbing a show. Perfect Hosts.

Million Dollar View

Property is so well maintained and clean. We totally enjoyed our stay. We had elk outside our doorway one evening and the nearby hiking trails are so easy to get to. The owners do live upstairs and you can hear the foot steps when they are active. However; they are very welcoming and accommodating to any requests.

Amazing Christmas Week

We had a wonderful Christmas week here. Tom and Geri were incredible hosts. The stocked fridge was a really nice touch. We've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties but, this one was the best experience we've had. Location is fairly remote and views are incredible. Saw lots of elk right from the back of the house. Will definitely be back!

White Christmas!

Beautiful property, comfy beds and pillows, game room with board games, DVDs, puzzles, pool table, Foozball, tabletop shuffleboard to keep you busy if the local outdoors isn't your thing. Plenty of trials nearby to hike without having to drive from the property. We got snow, so didn't hike but got to sled! Definitely recommend!

A beautiful home and gorgeous view

Our family of four fit perfectly. My boys loved the pool table, foosball, and shuffleboard tables. It gave them something to do in between activities. Hosts are very personable. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of things. Being able to see over Denver on the 4th of July was amazing. Fireworks were everywhere. One of the coolest views I’ve ever seen. Hiking trails were right down the road. And Denver was only about 15-20 mi s away.

Beautiful Location

Our family of four (two boys ages 7+8) enjoyed our stay here very much. The game room was great to have for kids! The views from every window were beautiful. We were very impressed with the toiletries and food left for us upon our arrival. Shampoo and soap in the showers and fridge stocked with eggs, OJ, cinnamon rolls, etc. Super nice to have and in my opinion above and beyond! The hiking is fantastic and literally right outside the door. The owners made sure to salt the walk and driveway early morning...again above and beyond! Overall, highly recommend!

Wonderful Christmas Break

We arrived on Christmas evening amidst an unanticipated snow flurry, after dark. With the flurries, darkness and unfamiliarity with the neighborhood we somehow ended up in a neighbors property, off the road and unable to get out! A phone call to Geri and Tim resulted in them jumping into their vehicle to come retrieve us and our luggage, knowing we could get the car in the morning. They went above and beyond and we were so very grateful.The rest of our stay was quite uneventful, which was very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their home, which had everything we needed. There were supplies for breakfast in the fridge which was so appreciated. The view is incredible and I would highly recommend staying in their home. A king size bed in the master bedroom would be an excellent addition for those used to king size and there is plenty of room. We would stay there again!!

Everything advertised and more!

The accommodations are exactly as advertised. Owners Geri and Tom are truly nice, caring people. Our arrival coincided with a somewhat stubborn snow storm that made driving challenging. Geri reached out a day or two early to warn us. I have experience in east coast snow, and we had rented an AWD vehicle, at Geri’s insistence. So no problem there. We arrived to find them salting and shoveling, and they were very relieved that we arrived Unscathed. The concern was sincere, not about the rental but rather about us. We were touched and it is heartwarming to find that care and concern in today’s atmosphere. Can I leave six stars?

AMAZING! Such a perfect vacation home!

Our stay was better than we could have imagined. The views were incredible!! Having coffee on the deck each morning was so peaceful with the hummingbirds flying around and sounds of birds chirping. My son loved the pool table and how spacious the game area was. We had long days of adventuring and it was so nice to come back to such a comfortable, and well stocked/equipped, home. We even had a cozy movie night in the livingroom. They thought of everything and provided a ton of extras to make our stay that much more than we could have asked for. It was so relaxing and stress-free. Great views, beautiful property, and caring hosts. During our stay, my 13 yr old son and I went to Red Rocks Amphitheater, Dinosaur Ridge, the Natural History Museum, Buffalo Bill Museum, and had a half day rock climbing adventure at Clear Creek. Having this comfy home to come back to each day was a blessing. We are truly grateful! Such a magical vacation!

Great location with great views

The views from all windows and decks are fabulous! You have a great view of Denver with spectacular sunrises and lit up city at night. We did not have any issues finding the property. It is conveniently located to the town of Golden, the Red Rocks, Boulder, Idaho Springs and more. The hosts were fantastic, even stocked the refrigerator with eggs, juice, coffee, creamer, milk and cinnamon rolls, which was very much appreciated. Lots of activities to do inside when weather is bad, lots of games, puzzles, movies and so on. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds zip in and out to feed off the 2 hummingbird feeders there. They were very entertaining! The location is in a private, secluded area on the side of the mountain and is very peaceful and safe. Kitchen was well equipped and everything in good working order. They have a nice, large laundry room stocked with detergent and all you need, which came in handy for washing clothes after long hikes. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful views, wonderful owners, perfect location

Our family of four (two in our 50's, two young adults) absolutely loved this location in the foothills outside of Golden. It is short trip into Golden, Denver is another 10 minutes past that, and heading the other way gets you past the foothills and into the Rockies. The beds were comfortable, the view spectacular, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout the rental that made it feel like visiting a good friend. For our tech family, the wifi and lots of convenient outlets was a huge plus! We went grocery shopping on our first day, and everyday made our own breakfast; in the evening after exploring the area we came back to rest up or engage in some friendly pool or shuffleboard or foosball games. We saw deer and elk - in fact twice we had to stop on the local roads to let a herd of elk pass. The location is near a local county park, which is beautiful and worth exploring. For those who are susceptible, since it is 7000 feet up in the foothills (which is why there are such wonderful views), altitude sickness is a real possibility - we found lots of water and time helped the most. The owners were very helpful with any questions we had, responding very quickly; one day while we were out some deer were on the property, and we just missed them - but the owner sent us pics, and we saw them a few hundred feet away down the hill. Fifteen minutes earlier and they would have been right outside the window! We all truly loved our week enjoying the "Million Dollar View"!
